All regional only
Thank you. Going to book SQ now so I can finally try their choco milkT3 SilverKris Lounge, my first visit since refurb. Certainly way more space than before. Was not too crowded this morning between 0930 to 1030 today. There’s lots of nice corners to hide away. But AC was very lacking… maybe just me.
This feature I really loved as I’ve not had chocolate milk that’s safe for me in ages!
No it’s not just you , that was our experience as well. The AC was better in the T2 lounge. But AC was very lacking… maybe just me
No idea which oat milk. Just like that it’s not too sweet. Unlike the ones we get in the shop in Oz.Thank you. Going to book SQ now so I can finally try their choco milk
EDIT: If OAT MILK+OATLY! then all is forgiven
You don't know how much the normal oat milk here in Australia charge for in Asia (Starbucks level and above). Each HALF litre is $8. Quite popular too! Imagine how much laksa and hawker food that can get you in singapore how crazy. No idea which oat milk. Just like that it’s not too sweet. Unlike the ones we get in the shop in Oz.

My mumma always says SKL is like a cup of chocolate milk. You never now how goooooood its going to get. (edit: only after they robbed you of your airfare and $400 noooo showwww feeee for arriving 2-3 mins late to counter because person in front was arguing)I was drinking that choc oatmilk in the lounge like it was going out of fashion last Friday. Sooooo good
Congrats - hope you enjoyed it.My first premium cabin SQ flight on SQ212 now in first class
PDB Krug of course
I picked up syd-sin-lhr saver around August last year when from memory some saver awards from syd-sin finally released.Congrats - hope you enjoyed it.
Did you book this on release or just happened to come across availability with good luck?
Perfect, thanks for the data point. Glad to hear a success story of getting F Savers (I'm guessing it was First rather than Suites?), as I've only heard bad things about Suite availability (apart from the short hops between SIN and BOM/DEL - not enough time to fully appreciate Suites I reckon).I picked up syd-sin-lhr saver around August last year when from memory some saver awards from syd-sin finally released.
I had a bit of SQ miles expiring & took the view that with all the expiration extensions due to Cov better to use now while a saver award is there.
Was originally on a later flight departing Syd but that flight in their schedule was downgraded to A350.
2 phone calls & Singapore Airlines got me on the early morning departure from Syd in F.
I stayed at the Rydges the night before as live on the central coast & that would mean at least 90min train ride.
I really enjoyed the flight as well as my flight the next day in First on SQ318.
Oh no, now I really want it again! since it can be obtained commerciallyI was drinking that choc oatmilk in the lounge like it was going out of fashion last Friday. Sooooo good
Yep just first 777 no a380 suites.Perfect, thanks for the data point. We've done SQ318 as well back when it was an A380, but in J (connected from SQ218 in MEL (in J on an A380 too) to SQ318).
Glad you enjoyed it and were able to plan it well enough in advance!

When we started travelling again in 2022 I had a few overnight transits in SIN. The Aerotel was ~AUD250/6 hours. I have not bothered to check again and in my opinion anything more than AUD80/6 hours is a waste of money.Im staying at the Aerotel @Changi tomorrow for 6 hrs of an 8 hour layover: 172 sgd for solo room, double and family rooms cost a bit more. Access to pool and a meal included.
Well done. That's a very nice way to fly.Put this trip I'm on now together by first getting SQ F saver award and later on managing to get QR J back to Aus.
Apologies if this has been asked previously but how strict are SQ on bag drop opening 3hrs before departure at SYD? Later in the year I am on SQ202 departing 6:45am & the other two NoNames are on SQ212 departing 9:05am. Will there be any issues if they come and drop bags at the same time as me around 5am and then come through airside? All in premium cabins if that makes any difference.
Had similar issue last year Ex MEL. A week prior I was at the airport on a different matter and went to SQ desk to ask if it’s ok to drop my luggage earlier on my coming flight next week. I was told it’s not possible to check in luggage during an earlier check in but they can keep it aside for few hours at the discretion of the duty manager on the day and indeed it was done. I know my answer doesn’t give you any guarantees but at least you know it’s possible.
How did this work? Did they put the tags on and just leave it behind the desk and then send it down to conveyor when the 3hrs clicked over? Or were the tags not possible and they just put them on later in your absence?
