Same thing happened to me last year. I gave up as it was about 12.30 and went to bed. Next morning opened my email and found an email from SQ asking "Do you still want to buy you flight...." So I clicked on the link and went ahead. I then received all the pins later on via sms.Anyone had trouble buying a SIA flight? I get all the way to payment and one time pin from St George and the one time pin from St George never arrives. St George said it is a SIA problem
Pretty sure the OTP not arriving is not related to the carrier/website at all.Anyone had trouble buying a SIA flight? I get all the way to payment and one time pin from St George and the one time pin from St George never arrives. St George said it is a SIA problem
The second growth Bordeaux in the lounge is great news! Previously they only had them onboard.Lunch - dinner starts at 6pm (too tight for me)
Thanks for posting! Have a SYD-HKG with an overnight in SIN next month to fully take advantage of the TPR and F/suitesLunch - dinner starts at 6pm (too tight for me)
Yes, SQ First provides for arrivals access to the SIN T3 Private Room.If one leg of a SQ itinerary is in First, and the next leg is with Scoot (as SQ don’t fly to that destination), will you still get access to the First Lounge and/or the Private Room.
At checkin at LHR T2 recently, we were advised showers were only available at the Plaza Premium lounge. I queried this , as our intended lounge was to be the Air Canada one, which unfortunately we were informed, closes as 500pm. I suspect that SQ were encouraging passengers to use the Plaza Premium lounge (cost ?) ; also the lounge invitation was displayed on the BP. Anyhow, as we had checked in early, we were at the United lounge by about 430pm. Showers were available to use at this time but by 530pm shower access had been closed off. We found the UA lounge to be pleasant and relatively peaceful, it did get busier as the evening progressed , but was not overcrowded. Agree with @LinaLee , bar service was good, but sadly no barista service. Food was OKSorry, no idea if refurbished on track. Hopefully it is.
Yes, united is sometimes a bit further out for SQ as the gates they tend to use is around 43/44. But really less than 10 min walk if fit.
Chose united for the bar . Read somewhere Air Canada does not have champagne for brekkie as I’m on SQ 317 leaving at 11ish. Food options is standard. But it’s a very busy lounge. I read air Canada is supposed to be quieter.
As serfty points out, your next onward flight could be on Emirates… but as long as you arrive SQ R or F, you can access TPR.If one leg of a SQ itinerary is in First, and the next leg is with Scoot (as SQ don’t fly to that destination), will you still get access to the First Lounge and/or the Private Room.

Are you able to put in a claim for EU261 compensation on the Lufthansa flight?Lufthansa have more problems than most airlines it seems - missed connections being chief among their problems. We were flying on SQ points from Milan via Munich to LHR, but the first flt ran late. Ground staff were matter-of-fact, sorted a flt next day, gave us their emergency pack of T-shirt n toothpaste, and a series of vouchers. 'Lufthansa refugees' we said, 'Lots of you every day' replied the clerk who checked us into her airport hotel. We had a laugh then took the clerk's advice, got the local bus to her nearby town of Erding, had a lovely evening that included local Erdinger beer, and continued our trip next day.
Nice summary.
Only one comment, well a request really, in the future can you please post well in advance of any travel you have with SQ, so the rest of us can do our very best to avoid any of those flights?

You have plenty of time! I think up to two years to file a claim. Could be worth €250 per person! (overnight accommodation and meals are required by the regulations in any event).possibly probably but can’t be bothered - we were taken care of, had an unexpected night near Munich and weren’t greatly inconvenienced. Besides, I’ve had enough of filling in forms for a while..
