... and you can select those seats at T-96 if you call or do online chat.
Yes sometimes if phone agent knows procedure but not always and they are becoming. Stricter on this

Now remember 91D and 91F are indeed bassinet seats so you may well succeed in securing them pre flt - but when you turn up to fly your seat may well be required as to accommodate a bassinet - C'est la vie - it was worth a punt 👍

Ok regarding amenities such as slippers / amenity kits in J - if flt time is <7hrs all amenities available on request - if flt time >7hrs then all amenities will be preset to all seats.
Although YMMV! Our SIN-SYD had amenity kits on request only. Although it was daytime.

DXB-SIN they were proactively handed out after takeoff to all pax from a tray.

Check out this snip from onboard menu today:

I assume this will be served around 19:15 on todays flt - now does prridge as a refreshment at 19:15 or so weird - or is it me?

Usually they serve a pasta or a sandwich or something which you wouldn’t equate as a breakfast item.

I saw that on my flight for tomorrow as well and agree it is rather weird. Will be interesting to see whether they run out of the Hokkien Mee

Seat belt sign just gone in,

Captain just announced ‘Due to turbulence seat belt sign may be illuminated for next 30 to 40 mins - Crew may continue service with caution’

SIN-KUL?
Perhaps it is only on aircraft with Lie flat J seats?
has to be read in conjunction with the overarching policy on amenity kits, which is only for flights of 6 hours or longer in business class (5 hours in F)

While SIN-KUL will be all lie flat soon, it’s still not an eligible flight.
