Yep, it's 3 months from meeting the minimum spend.
Data point: Card approval tentatively 23/11/2017 (actually during 60,000 points promotion @ $279 pa), lots of faffing around (as I'm self-employed) till card received and activated 05/12/2017, $5000+ spend that day, 90,000(!) bonus points credited 23/3/2018 ie 15 weeks 3 days after spend reached (Edited to remove the hash I made of dates in my original post).

T&Cs are 12 weeks from when eligible spend is met, not 3 months. And 3 months is 13 weeks not 16. I would push for compensation or an annual fee refund

Don't know how I made such a mess of dates and months.
Sigh .
"Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most".

I actually thought I'd only get 60k points according to their T&Cs, so I'll take the 30k as "compensation".

If your bonus points have not been awarded within the terms of the offer you should contact them and tell them they have breached the contract.

Just out of curiosity Dr Ralph, what has been your success rate when claiming breach of contract with card companies? If it's high and the compensation adequate, then it may not be a bad thing for them to go over by a week or two if it means extra bonuses and or lower annual fees. Just a thought.

100% success rate. I've never lost a case :)

This Call Centre must be contracted out to Citi based on their effectiveness.
Application lodged last week, but three calls to manilla this week and still no progress. "Please send (another) copy of ..."
And using the tracking system only returns a message that the application cannot be found.
Approval needs to be given by 18th.

Approvals need to be made by Sunday?

What exactly have they asked for? I had the same problem - they were asking for a bank statement showing rental income and I was giving them one but it didn't satisfy their requirements. Rather than tell me that, they would just keep asking for the same thing.

yes similar, wants Bank Statement for current month when not published yet.
Trying to get it through before offer expiry.

Can you go to your bank and ask for an interim statement? This is what I needed to do.

I made the required spend a week after opening and the 90k bonus points have posted with the first statement.
My first statement is due next week. Hoping for the same result :)

Got my first statement last week and no such luck for me. Hoping for the second statement....
