how easy is it to switch back? I assume most of you are not using it for the QF earn.

Hi Danger, since the sad demise of Westpac Black, I plan to put some more on there for this BAS. I will let you know

Hi scheps, my old St. George card was Qantas but since I was getting 1 QF per dollar for the WOW card I made this one not Qantas so I could get SQ points.

Just a couple of questions on this card. I have received my card and made a purchase, when do I get the lounge passes? Do I have to join up for it or is automatically sent out?

There is a link on the amplify signature page somewhere(don't have the link to me as I'm on mobile) to order the passes. Ordered mine and they came within a week.

You need to go to St.George and enrol. I did so earlier in the week. Still waiting (not surprisingly) for my QP passes.

Thanks cmon0005 and Daver6 - I ordered them this morning. I am leaving in 2 weeks, hope I get them in time....especially since I live in the West.

I'm in Perth too. I'll try to remember to post here when mine arrive. That should give you an indication of when you can expect yours. For the record, it was the evening of Tues 17th Feb that I ordered mine.

" The invitations will be sent to the account holder who has registered, to the card account mailing address within 4 weeks of validation"

As previously mentioned, Bank of Melbourne and BankSA are both offering the same deal (obviously as all owned by Westpac). Is anyone aware whether you'd be able to apply for either two or all three at once and be eligible for the bonus points? Each of the T&Cs state "a new Bank SA Amplify Signature credit card" / "a new Bank of Melbourne Amplify Signature credit card" / "a new St.George Amplify Signature credit card"

Thanks cmon, I understand they run off the same platform but reading the T&Cs would suggest that having a St George Amplify Signature credit card wouldn't exclude as I would be applying for "a new Bank SA Amplify Signature credit card" having and therefore would meet the eligibility requirements? I might give BankSA and Bank of Melbourne a call to see what they say.

Their system would see it as an existing customer already holding a card and would either reject you up front as it would see that an application for your name already exists, or it would go through but not be eligible for bonus points as you would already be a card customer.

From my reading of the T&Cs I wouldn't be an existing customer, though. I understand practically I might be considered an existing customer although under the wording of the T&Cs I don't believe I would be. May not be worth fighting the fight anyway.

Also having worked on building similar systems before in the past, (not specifically CC/banking) but same principal, we had built in fraud prevention systems that would look for behaviours like this and flag them as potential fraud. So just be wary as it could be seen that way even though your intent is pure, you may end up with all your applications rejected.

Having worked in the field myself am not 100% sure they would decline. Sure they would be able to see you as a customer (though strangely with the recent Privacy Act changes the ability to share that info is not as much as you might think, even internally) but they would almost certainly be regarded as different products and many banks allow you to have multiple CC products.

Assuming no one has had their points credited yet? T&Cs say within three months although I'm hoping they may be issued at time of second statement (as annual fee was debited on the first statement).

I'd like to get rid of the $15k limit before I do a batch of applications via NAB, Citi and BankWest.
