Still waiting for SCs here also, but has only been just under a week, so I'm still being patient.

Will be Silver as soon as they're credited... not a whole lot, but its somethin. :D

Its day 11 for me since my status run, still no sight of my status bonus points, any others still waiting?.

It's been two weeks for me and no bonus yet. I'm trying to be patient as best I can (badly :))

Glad its not just me then, I'll be going from SB to SG in one hit, so a bit anxious. Wonder why some got theirs in a few days and others like ours did not.

As I have also suggested in the JASA sticky, if you have the points look at spending 96K on the following routing along with $400 or so cash to bring it to the classic award level, you need to get to ADL and a rededeal is the best way given a JASA will cost 20K alone, even with Silver status the whole run is costing a net points cost of 80K:

Thanks Mark:idea:! Just helped my brother get to Plat for the first time with your help. Needed 230 SCs by end of June (membership year) with double SC promo.
Day 1: Syd-Adl YASA
Day 2: Adl-Bne-Tsv-Bne-Syd JASA

for $287.69 and ~49K net QF pts (inc 5k Loyalty bonus + pts eraned for trip) for 235 SC = 470 SC with double SC promo

Addendum: His membership year ends June 30th. His last flights (day 2 above) are on June 26th. His dble SCs have been posting 2 -3 days after his flights, so if this occurred all will be fine. What would happen if his dble Scs for his last lot of flights (26 June) don't post by June 30th or before? My understanding is that they should be still counted for June (and his current membership year) shouldn't they?

SC's are counted for the day of the applicable flight - not when they actually credit, so he will be fine even if the SC credit takes place after June 30 it will count towards this year.

Ideas for a 315SC ( before doubles) run ex BNE or SYD, staying no OS leg. Thought of delaying to after 30/6 but unlikely I could get WP till at best Apr/May 2012 and even then would be a toss up, so figured bird in the hand and all that , so will go for it WP before SC reset 30/6

dont mind if its two seperate run on diff days

thanks

Any ideas for a 100SC (before doubling) point run from Sydney? Probably pretty simple in the scheme of things, but I only think ill make Gold this year. Ill leave Platinum for next time!

Currently on 390SC with 100SC worth of bookings outstanding. Have the double SC deal till the end of July.

Or, failing that, how much more to go hard and give Platinum a nudge?

How happy am I - flew QF in full Y BNE/TVL on 04 May, returned on 22 May. Signed up for the double credits on 12th May - got double points for both flights!

Are connecting flight able to have breaks in them? eg ADL-BNE-TSV, can you break at BNE say overnight?

I'm in a similar boat, need 115SC to achieve WP. Best bet (IMO) would be to do the CBR-SYD-HBA JASA for 16,000 pts+ ~$200 with a few Red-e-deals in there. Will net you around 110-120 SCs. I did this run on 10 May to get me to Silver and it worked well.

If you really want to give Platinum a nudge do the NAN run during the double SC promo. I integrated that into a Fiji holiday 2 weeks ago and went from 435 SCs to 1135. Wasn't going to bother going for WP but the lure is too strong!!!

Do the NAN run without going to NAN during the promo, just book it with a stopover in Sydney, that will net you 100SC and leave the OS portion for another time!

That is a GREAT idea!!!! J tickets receive full refund of the portion not flown, right?

Dont know about getting a refund as such but at least it allows for a leisurely status run :(:

My previous answer to your question was no, AFAIK, now its yes, so long as its a transit (less than 24 hours) then it appears to be OK, I was playing with the above itin and it let me have different flights that left less than 24 hours in Melbourne, once over 24 hours the fare shot up to what I suspect was MEL-SYD normal J then SYD-NAN special.

I was thinking of doing this:

Obviously not turning up to the NAN flight but doing SYD-MEL and MEL-BNE.

Business Conditions State: "Cancellations (including no-show): After Departure The refund will be the difference (if any) between the fare paid and the applicable fare for the journey travelled."

What do you reckon?

Not doing the first leg may well invoke the cancellation of the other legs or at best repricing the J legs to applicable domestic levels.

Good point. Do you think doing BNE-MEL MEL-SYD and not doing the NAN leg would invoke the same conditions?

Consider splitting the dates?
