Might be of interest for those who can apply for US credit cards...

Can be transferred to many other programs such as Hyatt, BA (for short haul SYD-MEL award trips is great value).

Chase Sapphire Preferred offering 100K SUB with $4k spend...

Thanks for the heads up. $95.00 for 100k chase points seems like a great deal.

I just got an email from Transferwise saying the Amex US direct debit has been rejected, but it is a duplicate transaction from a week ago when everything went through. I logged into the Amex US website and there was no scheduled payment for today, so I am at a loss about what happened, anyone had this happen before where Amex seemingly tried to do a duplicate direct debit a week after it already happened?

Same for me. Had 4 failed direct debits which has already been paid successfully weeks back.

Looks like an issue with wise. Numerous complaints on their Twitter handle. Seems it has been resolved and any funds taken should be reversed by now.

Oh. So a Wise problem.

Also, regarding the Amex direct debits, above, I have been using my Wise USD account to pay Amex through Evolve Bank. Are some setting up an Amex direct debit?

I have setup direct debits on all my cards with Wise, aka the Evolve bank account. Have been using for couple of months and the process is seamless.

I entered my Wise USD account details on the Amex US website, then I turn on autopay, it pretty much acts as a direct debit would in Australia.
