is this through GT?
If it is, you could just tell them (over the phone) that you haven't got a payslip yet in the US. maybe they accept your OZ one?
If they don't, I suggest letting it go and trying again in like 3 months or so again

yeah, I don't think you can get an Amex that easily from the US if you don't live there.
It'd be easier going through GT otherwise if you don't have US credit history it'd be hard to get one.
Also, you can't apply through GT with a referral code.

Since the corporate card belongs to your AU login, it should still work. From your AU login, switch country to the United States and then you can apply for the US cards. There will be pop up on your US application indicating a global transfer, then you are good to go.
Hello everyone,
I created an online account for my Priority Pass membership (Obtained PP from Amex Aspire )
I put Australia as my country of residence, and then my Australian postcode.
When i checked my details on the PP site, i realised that my delivery address has the MyUS Express Lane address, but my postcode and country are Australia.
Should i bother to call up PP to update my address ? (I could not change the address online)
Since i already have the PP digital card on the app and on their website?
I did a notarycam for Amex. They accepted my Aussie passport. I offered an expired US passport as well, they chose the current Aussie one. Not sure about the address issue.
Data point: back in June this year, Amex US offered to spend $1500 and get $200 back on the Qantas US website. I tried and booked a flight on Qantas Australia back then (used their currency converter and charged to my Amex card in USD), I thought it was failed, and no cashback for Qantas Australia.
Today I logged into my account and was surprised, that the cashback was credited to my account.
Chase sent me an email that I have been pre-approved for an Ink $750 cash back (75k points) but I would have to spend $7500 USD in 3 months. Impossible when I have the United Explorer card spend to meet.
Speaking of which, the United card seems to be trapped in Botany, NSW by UPS. It arrived Thursday afternoon, don't know why they couldn't have put it on a plane to BNE that same day, much less why it is sitting around their office for a whole day yesterday. Does anyone know what is the deal with UPS? Status shows delays and no day of delivery is provided. Before it was due 25 July but last status update is 11:37 Friday morning. Then no new updates. If they could just get it to BNE I would rather drive to their office and pick it up if they are short on trucks.

Not sure there is anything to worry about. Will be sent to BNE over the weekend and out for delivery on Monday. Their delivery estimates are pretty accurate in my experience.

It no longer gives a delivery date. Just says "Package is delayed in transit. Delivery will be rescheduled. Check back or signup for UPS My Choice® to receive updates."
I was worried the bad weather was messing with the trucks. Just frustrating they don't give the reasons or more information.
When I applied, a couple days later they sent me an email telling me to read a message in my online Chase banking. They wanted me to update my Equifax. So you may get some kind of message if they want something. Otherwise you can call them and ask if it can be expedited. If you are a new customer for Chase not sure if they will send the card to Australia. I have about 12 years history with them and had both my US and Aussie address in my profile.

I did get a welcome email a few days after approval. The card showed up in my Chase account right away after approval, can only see last 4 digits and credit line.

Yes this is my first card with them, obviously I don’t have the online banking, so not sure how they will contact me next. I’ll call them next week to check if the application is approved and the card is on its way or not.
I spoke to AMEX USA and they informed me they will probably need some pay slips to confirm income. Anyone else experienced this? It looks like I have hit a roadblock.
No, this was not my experience at all. My relationship with Amex Australia (and declared income) in the US Amex application, was part of the application process. Would there be more to this, that may have raised a red flag?
Edit: I just re-read your posts. GT is the way to go, I would have thought.
Just learnt my us will return any bank mail or cards as they do not accept mail . I had applied for a chase card and Amex . So I won’t learn anything . I now have a planet express address .
Does anyone know how long I should wait before I apply with chase again ?
Last month, i had a live chat with a MyUS worker, and he/she said that they do accept mail (BTW i have been a premium member since 2007).
Just make sure that your item has a tracking number and you make a note of it. Just in case the suite no. is not written down by the sender, or MyUS puts your item in the too hard basket etc
