I am about to apply for chase personal card now, but noticed ITIN letter had my australia address on it. Would this be an issue at all? Has anyone had Aus add on there ITIN letter by any chance pls? Thank you.

No issue at all (also at Citi and Cap1).

Given that Qatar (the state) harbours a certain terror organisation I am no longer interested to fly the airline.

Doesn't look like they accept ITIN.

Did you mention Barclays accept ITIN?
 
Out of curiosity, has anyone here renewed their ITIN after 3 years? Or you all manage to file a tax return ? ( If so, did you all do the tax return yourself or you used an accountant/ tax return software?)

Make sure the out part is done via the app though, HSBC are bloody awful in implementing fast payments, so doing it via OLB send it the old, slow way.

I don't think it's required.. I got my ITIN 6 + years ago and never filed a tax return, still works fine.

As far as I know, one's ITIN remains assigned to the individual who obtained it, unless it is revoked. It only requires "renewal" if you will be lodging a US tax return. See here: US IRS ITIN Expiration FAQs.

Wow. I tried since Jan, still no luck, they keep rejecting me or asking for 3 month bank statement or tax return v.v. I m lost confused with Amex.

Try calling this number +1 866 929 5160 and ready to confirm your name and address. I had same issue but calling this number didn't ask for any bank statement or any bills approved straight way.

If they asked for tax returns, most likely you applied normally using ITIN and also no credit score?
