Strategy to obtain US Amex

That’s what I thought. How do we unlock these credits specifically get them back as they’re valuable benefits tho assumed much like US specific retailers, outside of our reach.

I won’t be disappointed if I needn’t wait an hour to get into to US next time I travel there either.

Is that ‘domestic’ as opposed to ‘international’? Does Amex offer a ‘global entry’ rebate? I think it’s global entry which is being put in place for Aussies.

H
now I can no longer reload Dunkin via the app using either Apple Pay and the Gold Amex. I receive a payment error. Tried it with several other US cards (Amex Marriott and CSP), still get the error.

How did you get yours to load?
Hmm. Mine worked Thursday

Clear Signup offer - US$75 Uber voucher is back. Code - VDAY25
Just signed up using my ABP.
Will report when I get the Voucher. Have Clear credit on Aspire too but will hold back for now.
Does the 75 work on AU accounts?

Help with Tello e Sim activation...installled it on phone (Samsung) but how do I activate it? I have sent a SMS to it from another phone but it has not been received. Do I have to turn international roaming on? Im in Australia atm
Thanks for any advice
Wifi calling should work, otherwise you need to have $5 worth of credit in your account to enable international roaming (it doesn't take the credit, you just need to have it there for some reason).

Definitely keep it. Free, easy way to verify your US address.
With HSBC likely about to exit the Aus market, it’s good you got in while you could
Likely to exit the AU market? What makes you say that?

Mine worked last month but has failed every time I've tried this month 🤷‍♂️

To those of you who have applied and got the HSBC USA Premier account, how did you all bypass the part where you have to submit documents to prove that you have a property in the US, student / work visa etc ?

Few reports out about it, mostly speculation currently

Was not required if you go down the - need it for investment route.

Interestingly I had 1gb of data and it was cheaper than no data - (only cents difference) - i think it depends on state taxes etc
I also just used a random NH address as it looked the cheapest
If you use tello dollars you don’t pay taxes or fees it seems

I think the 150USD green card is the easiest choice. Paying an AF is part of the games and is the cost for entry. Green card gives 40k points + 3x back on a range of stuff so it is not horrendous. It sounds like you want to avoid AF which is fair, but if you get like a 100k gold offer, you will end up with approx 300k US MR points after transferring the plat points across, which can be worth a lot of travel if that is your goal.
100k Australian gold charge offer? Is this from upgrading from the green after downgrading to the green from the plat?
