Stupidly cheap reward seats?

Hey i have been in AFF for years and have enough posts and I still don't know about the spreadsheet .... Obviously not privileged enough ...

The spread sheet was set up by lobo in Google Drive to list "golden opportunities" like this. It was created as there was a concern, seeing this is a publicly-visible forum, VA were able to use the information identified here to close loop-holes/mistakes in the new booking system, such as this one. It was agreed that there would be some criteria in granting access to the spread sheet so that VA didn't just create a new account, request access, and foil the very thing we were attempting to prevent.

6-12 hours is about the standard amount of time mistake fares usually remain after being made public like this. You snooze you lose.

Are you sure this has gone or just all the seats have been taken, even late yesterday this was getting tight but that doesn't necessarily mean it won't become available when more reward flights are loaded.

I couldn't find a single seat with the mentioned points/price for any date.

Will keep an eye on it in case they load more.

I understand there are no seats available anymore but the indication yesterday was that most were not available because people were booking them up, i.e. the number available was steadily decreasing. I seriously doubt any company could fix a bug in their system this quickly, they may be able to remove individual flights from availability as they identify (i.e. change data in their systems) but actually fix (and productionise this fix for) the underlying problem in 6 hours, virtually no chance!

Knowing what the bug was, it would have been very simple to fix. They would have had to have been aware of it to fix it though. Making it public here, and it was a quick fix.

Aye, for all we know the problem might just have been data related so a quick update to the DB could be the fix...

I actually know what the problem is/was. It's a simple fix
