Successful QF 'Bid Now Upgrades' data thread

Was hoping now I'm a newly minted WP I may get an invite to bid for the QF2 flight but it appears it was not to be - would my companions (gold) status be relevant in this case ?

Bid accepted on a red-e-deal Sydney to Perth on the first flight of the morning, offer was $250 plus 4,000 points.

Confirmation a little under 24 hours before.

MEL-SYD
Minimum Bid- 3000points +$105
My winning bid- 3000 points +115
I haven't been following this thread as I'm not really interested in upgrades but was thinking of bidding to upgrade wife and daughter on Easter Monday. I've already paid $237 for that airfare and an extra 3,000 points and $105 would be worth it for the surprise. Might be too late as it's only 4 days away.

Successful for 2 x bid now upgrades on MEL - SYD tomorrow morning.

Minimum is 3000 pts and $105. I bid 3500 pts and $110.

Unfortunately the scheduled A332 has just been subbed for a 738 though so wouldn't have bothered if I'd known that was going to happen.

Expertflyer was still showing the A330 at 6am this morning, but loads in Y were very very light.

I was successful upgrading to business from Syd - Mel last Thursday night using the minimum 3000 points and $110.

I was not expecting it as we were on an A330, the original fare only cost me $100 during a sale, and I was a lowly QFF Bronze at the time.

I did tick over to Silver the night before I got told I was successful though.

Maybe ring them and advise that you would like to cancel as you only did it as it was an A330 that you wanted to try and now as a 737 you don't see the point.

Yeah, I spent 25 minutes on hold trying to get through but then had to go into a meeting. Might try and move to QF408 at 7am as J looks fairly open at this stage.

Had another success on the SYD-PER 0600 departure. 4000 points and $250 on a red e deal ticket.

Success on a Trans Tasman flight

Congratulations!
Your upgrade offer has been accepted for your flight below.
At the airport, make your way to the dedicated Check-in counters to receive your upgraded boarding pass.
Flights SYD - CHC | QF139
Upgrade Type Business
Total amount paid $420.00 AUD plus 10,400 points for 2 people

Saver Y fare to J
not too bad I thought. we took 2 of the 5 seats available.

I've been waiting for upgrade now bid offers on my international flights but only ever offered for domestic flights.

Interestingly I've received an email today titled 'Last chance to Upgrade". Flight is on Friday but don't remember seeing this email before.

SYD-MEL came through, 3500pts $125 on a Red eDeal ticket.

Was thinking of offering the minimum and may have got it as right now at T-20 the cabin looks half empty.

I've entered my two offers on the spreadsheet but not sure if I entered it in correctly so they may need to be edited.
Got offers for:

SIN to SYD in Y (sale fare):
Min 5000+$800 SGD
I bid 5000pts +$840 SGD (per person) X2 passengers which was successful.

SYD to SIN in Y (sale fare): Min 5000+$790SGD. No bid.

As these were sale fares I couldn't use classic rewards to upgrade.
As the tickets originated in Singapore the payments were in SGD not AUD (but it's almost dollar for dollar at the moment anyway).
I'm SG.
