Suites savers now available

Well done Reg - I am sure the 2 of you will have the time of your lives. The only tip I can offer is to go back through thread and re-read posts - all advice you could possibly want is already posted - copy and paste into a Word doc or some such and print yourself an A4 sheet of the points that you think will most suit you.

As for seat selection - give it some serious thought - I guarantee that the 2 of you will have a more enjoyable time in 3C/3D or 2C/2D as you can share every moment of the experience together - clinking glasses of Krug / Dom at 35K ft / enjoying Lobster Thermidor together as you exchange those little 'couples' glances and smiles / actually sleeping together in a double bed at 35K ft - are you really sure you want to miss this?

And of course as a last resort if your partner ever annoys you too much you just pull divider slide down - simple - I have done it several times - Doctors say the feeling to my upper arms should return soon!

In dozens and dozens of R flts I have never seen a full cabin - you can pretty well bet that there will be spare window Suite/s for you to peer out of for the period where you can actually see something. I personally never understand people's desire to 'cloud watch'.

Need some advice, Been looking Syd -NRT Suite for october next year, When I put 2 pax, I can see its available. But when I put 2 pax + 1 child , it becomes waitlist.

I have been thinking, I am going to use 2 KF account to book 1 pax, and the other KF for 1 pax + 1 child. IF I book this at same time, will it works ? :)

thank you

I have never seen 3 Suites seats available for points redemption

Generally it's 2 Suites/First and 2 Business class seats per flight

Anyone have an opinion on which seats to snag for SIN to MEL on a 777-300er? Looks like it's the 3 class version of the plane and have put in for 2C&D only to stay away from the galley in the front.

Galley will not affect you no matter where you are in F - I always take 2C as you generally get the pair to yourself.

I've been thinking about my recent booking change from J to F on the SIN-MEL leg, after a IST-SIN J sector.

The J and F bookings are on separate PNRs.

First question, will this be a problem if there's a delay IST-SIN?
Second, will baggage be checked through? If so, do they tag it with an F priority in IST? Or J all the way through to MEL?
Third, I plan to clear immi and go 'round to the F check-in. Just for the fun of it. Am I nuts? I have a 5 hour layover, so I may as well have some fun.

I'm tempted to just treat it as two separate trips. Check through to SIN in J, then recheck through to MEL as an F pax. Has anyone done this before? Am I setting myself up for disaster?

2016 Holiday booked, R SYD - SIN F SIN- BCN then F MXP - SIN F SIN - MEL. I have been a road warrior for years but only just started over the last 24 months to really make the most of this points game. I managed 380,000 VA points during the 100K promo with a bunch of referrals and some family transfers and am about to get 250,000 VA from NAB. Anyone else think with the way VA are throwing around point things are going to get harder? I almost feel sorry for the old school KF members (of which I am sure there are many in this thread the VA-KF team up seems pretty one sided.

Hi mrsmart.

As to your first Q: I called Singapore just yesterday re a number of different PNRs for a coming trip, they told me that the bookings are all linked in my KrisFlyer card. Also your bags will be booked through to Mel.
Second Q: Is the first checkin at Singapore worth going through, I think it's a great expireance, but not worth having to pick up your bags and recheck in. The private room is the best part of the expireance. Enjoy what ever you decide.

Thanks Wayne. That's great to know.

It would seem weird for the call centre staff to actively book me on two separate PNRs if it could cause an operational problem.

Will see how I'm going for time/sleep/energy. Need another entry into SIN on the new passport anyway to get access to eIACS so might do it.

It's super minor, but does anyone know about multi-cabin priority bag tagging? Surely it'd be all F? It's my first time so obviously wanting to make the most.

It's taken me a while but I'm finally onboard the SQ wagon (thanks to Velocity Amex promo). Booked F MEL-SIN-BCN for next August. Returning EY Apartments via AA miles.

HI all,
I have a little dilemma that BBTM (Bigger Brains than Mine) here might be able to help with.

I have a fully booked Suites journey SYD-SIN-FRA-JFK on 12 Feb next year, returning via same ports starting 21 Feb.

It's now highly desirable that I travel on 4th or 5th Feb, stopping in FRA, then continuing on to JFK on my original itinerary on 13 Feb.

How would it be best to achieve this? Because as far as I can tell I can't do it online, and I can't do a split booking on the way over with a weeks stop on FRA.

Best I've come up with is to tfr enough points into KF to re-book the whole thing, then cancel the original booking. Obviously subject to availability.

Any better ideas? I tried ringing the contact centre but they had trouble understanding what I wanted to achieve, although perhaps another try there is warranted.

Anyway, all advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Peter

good of luck finding availability on the sin fra JFK route it is the toughest route for availability on the SQ website. Sorry I know that's not much help but I think you may have to leave the booking as is
