pg check pm
HI all,
I have a little dilemma that BBTM (Bigger Brains than Mine) here might be able to help with.
I have a fully booked Suites journey SYD-SIN-FRA-JFK on 12 Feb next year, returning via same ports starting 21 Feb.
It's now highly desirable that I travel on 4th or 5th Feb, stopping in FRA, then continuing on to JFK on my original itinerary on 13 Feb.
How would it be best to achieve this? Because as far as I can tell I can't do it online, and I can't do a split booking on the way over with a weeks stop on FRA.
Best I've come up with is to tfr enough points into KF to re-book the whole thing, then cancel the original booking. Obviously subject to availability.
Any better ideas? I tried ringing the contact centre but they had trouble understanding what I wanted to achieve, although perhaps another try there is warranted.
Anyway, all advice would be gratefully received.
Thanks,
Peter
I think you might have a better luck not explaining the whole lot when you phone SQ. Just call and ask for a change of date of your SYD-SIN-FRA to a few days earlier than the current itinerary, nothing more, nothing less (this is basically what you need to achieve, right?). Depending on your circumstances you may even want to explore getting to another port in Europe, London for example, and then resuming your current itinerary from FRA (you will then need to purchase a separate LHR-FRA ticket of course). I would leave the FRA-JFK and the return legs of the current itinerary alone!

Maybe / maybe not - when you checked and saw 2 x availability why didn't you book then? Its much easier to cancel later if you don't want - as I have said here 1,000 times even if you see availability on separate sectors they may not be available cough married sectors.Ok i got an issue here. When i checked i could get 2x Sin-Hkg-Sfo in R/F i want the day stopover in Hkg. I booked one all good. When i book the second it says not available, but whrn i check the individual sectors they are. Would KF rebuild that itinerary for me? Help!

Call KF vitagen and run the full history past them - KF call ctr will always be your best friends.
Yes if you hold R/F BP you can guest one - technically they should hold same day BP for any *A carrier - but not always enforced. Are F class passengers allowed to bring in a guest with them to the Sydney lounge? If yes, are there any conditions? I'm hoping to bring a friend in and he is flying economy. Neither of us have any status.
Did you call up and select 2C/D as you cannot select online? For couples 2C/D and 3C/D are the only alternatives you should consider - apart from being able to interact between your Suites you also get a double bed.Is there any difference between the middle suites? We're currently allocated in 2C/D.
I have only had 1 crack at EK F and their is ability to interact between the middle pairs but nothing like SQ - cannot advise which row is better or worserer. While on this topic I'll ask the same question about EK A380. Are any middle suites better choice then others?

But remember 2C/D are indeed bassinet seats and should one be reqd by other pax on day you will be booted.
