Hmmm.. Interesting. I already have an award booked in 1st for July next year AMS-SIN. I wonder when they will tell me the bad news?

I would contact them asap to get accommodated on an alternative service if that's what you want. Might as well get in early (although there probably won't be a great deal of passengers on any given flight affected by this at this point in time).

Something does not make sense here - if you already have confirmed rdpts which would be affected I can't believe SQ have not contacted you. No mention of O class which is rdpt class for all R and F rdpts. As MEL suggested call ASAP and please post response.

I haven't been contacted either, and the sector SIN-AMS is not available to view in my bookings. I'm going to be very disappointed with no F. What will happen ... J?

If so, which seat should I ask for as being best solo. Hopefully, a points reduction. Drat.

How about a re-route at no extra points?

Is definitely separate booking AMS-OSL. If I can get F to FRA that will be fine, but I need to make the connection otherwise I have to buy a new flight. How's FRA for connections? I am on hold.

Doubt it if on separate tickets. You didn't want to leave it as F via FRA?

Good question, maybe argue that they should deliver you to OSL instead of AMS as the new arrival time would be too tight? Why the stopover if in J, or is J full on SIN-AMS?

I have SYD-SIN-AMS in F all straight connection. I also then have AMS-OSL on the same arrival day.

I'd like F. I see that paid F seats to FRA are available on the day. I'll ask if the can "deliver" me to OSL!

Been on hold for 15 mins.

Still on hold. This is what you get if you email them: "Dear KrisFlyer Member,

Thank you for your email.

This is an automated acknowledgment to let you know that we will respond to you in the next 10 business days".

Indeed, and my experience is you may well wait at least they long until they respond!

Still on hold. Now, looking at my booking, it is showing the original suites all the way SYD-SIN-AMS, whereas an hour ago it said my flights had changed. I don't what the hell is going on, are there F seats or not? I'm getting terribly conflicting info and been on hold for over an hour and it's not a free call.

I have asked for a manager but they don't seem to have any of those. I may have to call back tonight as I'm getting a headache listening to this dreadful on hold musak and being told crxp. Very stressful.

EDIT: well after seemingly hours of changing stories, I am now ASSURED that SQ232 is an A380, and SQ324 is a 777. I don't know what to believe.

Quick question: is it possible to change the dates of an SQ redemption on-line or does one have to phone? There seems to be a button for "change flights" but it keeps sending me round in circles.

I'm with you Cruiser. SQ texted me a re a time change from 15:10 to 15:00 and that's flights 7 months out, give SQ a call asap.

Absolutely date changes online permitted and usually very easy - you can also change destination and cabin class - you cannot change origin.

Very happy here. Managed to book J Syd-SIN-NRT Return for July 2016 ( 3 Adults 1 Child ).

Special thank to CE :D
