Thanks. So if I had 2 KF accounts technically I could book 2 J savers each account totalling to 4? If I had 3 KF accounts I can do another 2 which makes it 6? :)

Not exactly like that. All depends on how many J Savers seat left.
I was using 2 different browser to book, and pay at the same time. All tickets Received confirmation. :)

Ok thanks. May need to set up 2KF accounts then as I may need 3 J. And even on 1 account is near impossible. Can I transfer credit card points that is under my account to a KF account that is under wife's name??

Something does not make sense here - if you already have confirmed rdpts which would be affected I can't believe SQ have not contacted you. No mention of O class which is rdpt class for all R and F rdpts. As MEL suggested call ASAP and please post response.

Definitely confirmed, ticketed and definitely still showing "First" in Manage my Booking. I agree it is odd. As it turns out I may have to cancel that flight anyway so I may leave it for a while and see what happens.

I phoned this SQ again this morning and spoke with a very helpful young woman. As far as she knows there is no equipment change SIN - AMS. She confirmed my flights as booked. I will be keeping a very close eye on this though. Thank you cruiser for your suggestions.

I just attempted a dummy booking AMS-SIN for 30 July - F options are only available connecting in FRA or LON.

Business class shows available on the non-stop SQ323, which is still a 777-300ER atm (but likely to change to A350). Bringin up the seat map for the 777-300ER will show an F cabin, which is probably where the agent is making the mistake. Current fares (including F and O) have likely been mapped to stay on the original flight to make rebooking easier when it comes time to do so.

If anyone is looking to change, it's probably best to ask the agent to make a new booking so they can actually see what's going on. Making a new booking will identify the error, which they should then be able to act on.

I had a similar issue previously when UA changed from UA metal to CO metal, without F. UA simply mapped across 'O' class even though there was no F cabin. Because of that, agents couldn't see anything wrong with the booking, until of course they tried to book a new seat in F. Came back as an error.

Thanks Mel. I guess another phone call coming up. I will need to get that FRA flight to get to AMS to connect with my AMS-OSL. I'll look at the option to change if not too expensive to FRA -OSL. Hopefully, the SQ agent will be able to help.

Thanks so much for the alert that SQ no longer offer F/suites SIN-AMS > March 2016, which I had booked back in April ‘15. Thanks too for the suggestions for dealing with it, so very helpful and generous.

I wanted to stay in F and was not prepared to accept going into J. So, long story and hours later, I have rerouted via LHR as I needed to get a connection to OSL.

My separate AMS – OSL flight is non-refundable, so I lose that.

SQ rebooked SYD – SIN – LHR – OSL, arriving 1 hour later than originally. Cost was 26K extra SQ points and SGD 120. I have selected 3F all the way - that's a good seat right??

The agent Rudy was knowledgeable, efficient and fixed it up easily over 3 phone calls, not counting the previous approx 2.5 hours, mostly on hold.

WOW - seems to be very poorly handled by SQ - I am really surprised. What solution/s were SQ offering initially?

I understand you've got what you wanted in the end (which is the main thing), but considering they have caused you to lose your non-refundable ticket I would have thought LHR-OSL should have been covered by SQ?

Well, they didn't offer any suggestions except to fly in J if I didn't like their conditions. Plus, they refused to refund the SGD40 difference in taxes. I was worn down by the time and stress of dealing with it. Maybe it's a lesson for others on the rebooking around this issue.

I jumped in with making these changes quickly as I assumed there are not going to be a lot of seats around. Maybe, I pre-empted things a bit.

Still seems to be handled abysmally by SQ - I don't have access to a rep for some time but I'll certainly sit and chat to one ASAP - I am staggered.

Would love to know how they have handled comm tix.

Cruiser - what are "comm tix"? During your chat, plse ask them for a refund of 26K points and the payment. ;)
