What time does SIN-TOK flt dep? If it's early they will serve brekkie onboard - pain in the cough if you have already had brekkie in TPR.

9.25am. Just have to make sure I hit the hotel gym before heading to the airport so I'll have a decent appetite.

Am very much looking forward to trying out some of the high end whiskies they have on board

If you work with the thought that it is 5 o'clock somewhere it will work well for you in your suite.

My father had that view that it had to be 5 o'clock in the afternoon before he could have his G&T. My personal view on the matter is that if someone is going to offer me a quality French champagne at 10:30 in the morning, I'm probably going to say "yes, thank you".

Thanks to all the contributors to this thread.

Got my first Singapore flights coming up this weekend. Going to the Singapore GP with a group of friends and partners.

Between us we managed to get 4 first savers and 4 business savers (2 first savers are flying out a day earlier)

A question for those on here that may know. The 4 business savers, also waitlisted for First Savers suites.

I was having a look at the loads on Expertflyer yesterday and there were 7 available Suites in First. Today when I checked back there were 4 suites that had been blocked (not occupied). This was similar in business with a number of the empty seats now listed as blocked.

Anyone seen this before?

I am of course hoping that the 4 suites blocked are somehow related to the 4 suites we waitlisted for.

We'll have a great time regardless.

Thanks again

BINGO!

All now confirmed.

So six of you in F ..... very very very nice. Have a blast!! Sorry I meant R ;)
Wow I never new SQ were so generous with redemption seats. In the past I have seen the cabin half empty yet still not showing availability. Well done indeed!!

You could drink them dry of all the Dom and Krug!
OT - but has that ever happened in SQ R/F, running out of the prestige cuvees?

Good news for me :) I have just booked my very first Suite experience for July 2015. It will be a long wait but I know it will be worth it. I have flown SQ F once before so it is about time I get back onto their F/R ;) I have booked SYD-xSIN-NRT-LAX as a Saver o/w award with a 4 night stopover in Tokyo. Two day time flights on the A380 to definitely make the most of SQ R A380 experience plus a 77W overnight flight SIN-NRT to just snooze. I have flown 380 suites on QF, TG, and KE so definitely excited about SQ R and see what the big fuss about SQ is ;) I know its going to be fantastic :) :)

A big thanks to Cruiser Elite who advised in these threads that you can add stopover/s on one way Saver awards. The agent who I spoke with earlier this afternoon knew exactly what I wanted to and even applied the 15% discount without me even asking. We've allocated 3C/3D on both A380 legs so it should be fun with the +1 and the doors closed ha ha ha just kidding ;)

Ps. taxes were crazyyyyyyy .... $850 or so per person including the stopover fee.

We have a slightly longer wait than Alanslegal - Aug 2015 - SYD SIN Suite Saver and SIN DXB F Saver - 89250 pts pp. We have an overnight in Singapore due to flight schedule which suits us. I didn't think the taxes were too bad at just under $500 pp.

It is going to be one of those grand, surreal experiences I suspect. Partner thinks we are travelling J, hope I can keep from letting the cat out of the bag between now and then.

Our flight is in 5 weeks. First time suite'rs :D:D:D:D Getting closer and closer, can't wait for it!

I told my parnter we were flying premium economy (she doesn't know it doesn't exist, so it's good to mess with her a bit ;) ), had to say we were flying something better than Y since I told her I had pts to kill. Even altered the booking confirmation printout to say premium economy :D It's going to be very hard to not ruin it as you say Bazzi. She hates airplane food (mainly because it's mostly been Y food. Somehow I need to find out her preference for BTC without letting her know it'll be good food.

At the moment, I think all my flights are still empty, except the suites 2C/D which show pax or blocked? Guess we'll get the full pamper package.

We're arriving in SIN, from MEL, @ 9.40am for a 2hr stopover, and arriving in SIN, from LHR, @ 7.45am for a 3hr stopover.
It'll be our first time in R and TPR and we haven't been to SIN in a very long time. Just wondering if 2-3 hrs is more than enough time to enjoy TPR and go round and possibly do some exploring/shopping? or should we just enjoy TPR for the entire time?

ninja is OH a Lobster Thermidor fan? If YES then there is your answer on BTC.

Arr into SIN from MEL at 09:40 or 21:40? By the time you arrive TPR you should be well and truly drowned in Krug or Dom - but head straight to TPR and settle in - maybe a glass of VLGD to start and then make a plan. You could nosh down again but don't forget they will feed you also almost right away on next sector.

So you will just have to make those decisions as you go along - shops are only an escalator ride away from SKL/TPR anyway - you both might want to just stroll the length of the shopping strip anyway just to loosen up a bit. Don't forget to go get your $40 Changi dollars each - did you make 2 x o/w bookings or ret booking? If 2 x o/ w you get to double up on the Changi $$$s on return leg - money for jam!
