Absolutely 100% you are entitled to F benefits if you have paid F rates. Lounge staff should know this - you can ask KF call ctr to put a note on your booking. If any query when trying to enter insist they call KF call ctr to clarify.

So I'm looking to book 2 x F savers AU-EU next year... just looking at putting together itinerary... if I search for MEL-SIN and SIN-LHR separately and find seats on flights i want, but that connection doesn't show up when searching MEL-LHR. Is it possible for me to call up and ask for those flights put together as a MEL-xSIN-LHR and still get 15% discount?

How long can a transit be before they consider it a stop over?

The stop must be less than 24 hours to be a transit stop.
On one of our future trips we have a 19 hour layover , and that one is definitely transit , so no extra point cost.

Thanks, did you book that online or over the phone? If over the phone would they give you the 15% online discount?

Trying to get from PER-SIN-HKG for a mixed class redemption.

PER-SIN is sold out on J, so will have to take Y to SIN. but will be flying F from SIN-HKG. Will i skip the 'whole' waitlist queue and be the first pax to be given a business class seat if there is a no show on the route?

Maybe YES - maybe NO - kkl KF call centre ALWAYS your best friend. Did you pose this question to them?

I think it is a just in case for passengers turning up with infants. Have not had that happen in about 40 Suites flights so you could end up in there but rumpy pumpy is discouraged by SQ.

Is the 2C 2D the block out seats or other pax?
2C and 2D are bassinet seats - they are ALWAYS blocked for online selection. If you are a couple wanting to sit together you can indeed call KF and request them if 3C and 3D were already taken - but be prepared to be asked to move if indeed there is reqt for bassinet.

Like cove I have never seen Suite used with bassinet however I have seen another AFFer report here that they indeed were asked to move.

Whats the best number to contact Krisflyer on to ask questions about point redemption bookings?

Yes i did, they told me to turn up 3 hours before check in and I wont be guaranteed to be the first on the list :evil:
So why would you re-ask that very same question here? Do you think an AFFer has more knowledge / pull than the KF call centre experts?

Just wonderin'?

The csr was not sure and just presumed that was what would happen.

And sometimes what KF say and what happens in the airport could be different?

Then if you are not 100% sure that KF rep is 100% sure request a Manager and clarify it - do not hang up until you are 100% sure of the course of action you need to follow. That is best advice I can give you my friend.

Have to agree with this, there are enough examples I have accross multiple industries of where the "users" know more than the CSR's of how things happen in practice, to want at least a second opinion. Personally have never had a problem with KF but as a general principle I've found I'm more likely to get the right answer off AFF than ringing a call centre!
