Hope that some from the previous marriage is never foundOh dear. I'm sure some pax will have emotional baggage if theirs gets left behind.
But would they have a case? Or would they just carry on?
Security line invigilators were having everyone weigh their carry on. 10kg max strictly enforced. I had go through the charade of moving some papers out of my carry on to my briefcase.
Including business?and staff tagging second bags to ensure they’re not placed in the overhead lockers.
Which would only mean anything, if the crew onboard went through the overhead lockers checking for tags, which I'm sure they don't given they have better things to be doing. But does raise some interesting scenarios:staff tagging second bags to ensure they’re not placed in the overhead lockers.

Yep. Second time in as many weeks I've been weight-invigilated at SYD.I think that’s unrelated to the baggage outage, QF at SYD seems to be really cracking down on carry on - one up one down signs everywhere (including in the lounge) and staff tagging second bags to ensure they’re not placed in the overhead lockers.
Yep I'm travelling in J.Including business?
“I see nothing”.Was fine. I did my usual golden triangle this arvo and no noticeable difference in terms of congestion at check-in or delays.

I wonder if this is to get staff practiced and up to speed prior to the Easter Mad Rush..?This morning at SYD Term 3 at 8.30am the bag drops aren't working and each piece is being individually checked.
