So I have just checked my booking for April next year, and get the message that the airline has cancelled one or more of my bookings.
As expected, flights are exactly the same. The interesting thing though, is that my US domestic flights (HNL-DFW, DFW-MIA) are now both showing up as being in the Business cabin - I thought American was still calling it First??.

I assume you're looking at it on the QF site?
AA are still calling it First. The QF systems will just be seeing a Business booking class attached to the flight and show it as Business.
Does it still show as "First" if you look at the AA site?

No, this is actually on the AA website. This is why it is such a surprise.
Even though I have my QFF number in the booking, it is not showing up on Qantas MMB.

That's odd. Might want to ask AA what's going on then.
If the booking is only AA flights, then I wouldn't expect it to show up on QF MMB. The flights would need be on an airline that uses the same GDS as QF, or connected to a flight using the same GDS, for QF to be able to see them.

My current booking, a oneworld circle Asia (CBR-SYD-HND-ITM-HND-SIN-MEL-CBR) was issued by QF. The JL flight not connected to a QF flight (HND-ITM) didn't show up in QF MMB. ITM-HND does show up because it connects to HND-SIN, which is booked under the QF code. (Though I find it odd why a flight on QF ticket stock didn't show up on QF MMB)
