Or was it in a different thread that someone worked it out? Oh that's right, I don't think anyone has nailed it yet! (And that was not a reference to Misha's thoughts around JC arriving on the next 737 from Seattle either!)

I'd say there have been plenty of announcements in recent times from VA. Business class. Happened already. A330s. Happened already. Lounge revamps. In progress, one complete already. Velocity revamp. Started with more to come. Priority Boarding. Started in some gates already, and being rolled out everywhere. Platinum. On it's way.

And from today's lunch, I can tell you there is a lot more to come. We don't know what it all is, and I'm fine with that. Just enjoying the ride.

There WILL be something posted on here tonight, that IS new, and will be here very, very soon.

And it's definitely positive for Velocity Frequent Flyers.

Yes. And no. And close. But also far.

There are definitely some good guesses and some that are way off.

It's just that I haven't seen an exact guess! Although the thread has been moving quite quickly so it's also possible that I may have missed the odd post or two as well!

If only you'd been a fly on the wall next to our table in the SYD lounge earlier. Although we made sure we had our folders face down so no-one could see the logos on them...not even that fly

Yeah I nearly died when yogi asked if there was a Coast Restaurant in Sydney. And I'll admit, when I got the invite, I also did read a little too much into the whole coastal theme too!

As an unloved QF WP I have a cunning plan, based upon the VA approach here.I'm going to invite Alan Joyce, and a some selected QF execs round for lunch.

We'll have a competition to find some QF AFF's to join in. We'll have to have a whip round to pay for the QF execs to get to my house, and I am assuming the lucky AFF members could fit the trip in as an SC run. Probably can't run to Calamari and T Bone, but I have some party pies and Dan Murphy cleanskins.

I have said it before and will say it again, congrats to VA for the level of engagement with this initiative.

A bottle of 2006 Wolf Blass Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon arrived as a Gift from QF. Guess I'll drink it when they give me WP1 for my past flying. Could end up being a very dusty bottle.
