So you will not wait for WP1 benefits but you are swapping to DJ who are yet to announce their tiers.

This is exactly what I was talking about. You are jumping from QF because they are yet to announce WP1 benefits but you are moving to DJ who are yet to announce their Platinum level.

DJ will offer great benefits to lure frequent flyers but how long they last (the benefits not the airline) remains to be seen.

I have started placing some of my business with DJ as they seem to have a better reward system for their FFers and seem to be making good world wide alliances with what I see as good airlines with good services and with better points / SC earns per $ spent than QF can provide. To be very clear, I will fly enough this QF year to easily regain WP and to get the equivalent with DJ as Platinum and AA as EXP.

So just so i can clarify this and go to sleep: The pre launch lunch is not actually proceeding a launch. The announcement you are making about the "new partner" is not going to be made today. It doesn't bother me either way but can you clear it up so i can go to bed rather than wait up for it.
