I don't think people really tip for coffee service unless they really get along with the barista or they were really served well.

I do, if the barista is cute, & they are known to make a nice cup..

Usually just round up to the nearest dollar, & put it in the jar..

Cafe coffee price appears to be at an upward trend.. Paid $4.80 the other day in Montville for a small cappuccino, albeit apparently made with 'spring water"., though recently heard about the 13 euro coffees on the Champs Elysses at the sit down cafe.

Ok. Now I'm confused. Are some of you saying it isn't a tip jar but if you need day 5cents to finalise the account you can take it?

If you want someone to bounce ideas off/another set of eyes, feel free to PM me...I'll be up for a while "studying"
Thanks. I gave up trying after 3:00am.

I am trying a complex routing and must be violating some stopover rule.

Not worth wasting any more time.

Speaking of tipping. At Cibos coffee shop there is a dish of coins right next to the cash register. I've never seen anyone put money into it and its always full of coins. Do people really tip for a coffee? Or is it a case of chucking in the loose change? Although I've never seen anyone do that. It isn't like Cibos serve anything other than pre packaged food put on a plate. So what's the deal here?
I used to (still occasionally do) work at a Cafe (not a chain, a small independent). We used to get anywhere from $2-$12 per day in tips. Luckily the owners let the staff keep them, so every so often we would have a staff get together over dinner & drinks :).

It was during this time I learned that people who put 20c of change in each time were nice but it doesn't matter. We had one daily regular who never left a tip for us, ever (which again, doesn't matter in the slightest). But come the last day before the Christmas holidays, they came down and put $50 in the tip jar. :)

Thanks. I gave up trying after 3:00am.

Fair enough. If it's complicated you might be violating the HIP (Higher Intermediate Point) rule and invoking a new, much higher fare.

Need to win otherwise if Oman beat Jordan kiss Brazil goodbye.

If that does happen we still have the playoff even if we lose tonight. (h+a vs other 3rd place team, then h+a vs 5th placed in CONMEMBOL)

Slightly more important game happening at the moment in Sydney medhead ;)

Nah. Brumbies game is pretty important. ;) They've got the Lions pinned down at the moment, meaning they are beatable, even if the Reds didn't already confirm it 2 weeks ago.
