Should we start a "When will JohnK make a 1000 posts" thread? Hmmmm.
Hmmmm. Not necessary.

With a bit of luck it should happen sometime in the next 10 days.

Ok, how about a tricker question - It was not so long ago that AFF passed 10000 posts, when do you think AFF will have 20000 posts?

It will probably happen soon. Its hard to keep him quiet :)
At least I am making some noise. :P

Ruffle a few feathers, throw in a couple of furfies and what do you know AFF's post count is slowly moving towards 20,000. :D

All part of what makes this community that is AFF.

At the current rate of posting I would guess towards the end of February.

Hopefully everyone would be back on board soon.

Same sort of time frame I had in mind.

Not wrong there.

When I look at some threads on FT it is just pure garbage being posted but this happens because there are so many users online. We don't seem to have the same continuation on AFF obviously as we are on a much smaller scale. I think the most users I have seen online are ~15 users and the mosst AFF members online at the same time at ~8 users.

Regardless of our opinions on some topics/issues we are all here for one purpose and that is to learn new things to do with flying/credit cards/hotels/loyalty programs. We can't be serious all the time. Throw in some poor humour at times and we have a good balance.

I love threads like the off-topic thread as we can just post anything and not get in trouble.

It would be better if there was some decent humour from time to time, but I guess we can't have everything.

Worth a good chuckle. Clever.

'Try not to lie, but if you do, do it as well as the priest."..........

The Priest who could not lie :!:

A distinguished looking young lady is on a flight returning from Switzerland. She finds herself seated next to a priest and asks" Excuse
me father, may I ask a favor of you?"

"Well of course Miss, what can I do for you?" he replies.

"Here's the dilemma, I purchased for myself, a superbly sophisticated electronic hair remover. I paid a lot of money for it. I really went well over the limits set forth by Customs, and I fear they will confiscate it from me. Could you perhaps secret it through Customs for me under your robes?"

"I certainly could my dear, only I must warn you I really am not ever able to lie..."

"You have such an honest face father, surely they will never ask any questions of you," and with that she hands him the hair remover.

After landing they proceed through Customs and it becomes the father's turn in line.

"Father, do you have anything to declare?" asks the Custom's officer.

"From the top of my head to my waist I have nothing to declare my son."

Finding this answer a little strange the custom's officer proceeds to ask, "And from the waist to the floor, what do you have to declare?"

The father replies, "I have a marvelous little instrument destined to be used on a woman, but which has never yet been used..."

Roaring with laughter the Custom's officer says, "Go right through father.

Next!"

 :D  :P  8)
