I only found out about that today. I saw an ad for a fan at Big W for $32. If one not enough then I can buy 2. I am not a huge user of aircon especially while i am sleeping.

What I did not realise was all the extras. I had an apartment that included everything including Foxtel and electricity.

The new lease I have to pay for electricity, water and Foxtel. Perhaps I misread but I do not want to pay for Foxtel. I do not want it. I hope electricity and water are user pays and not shared costs as my usage would be very minimal.

I did watch a few episodes of the Amazing Race many years ago. I thought it was silly. I was not realistic. I think it is scripted and poorly at that.

Shows like Big Brother, Lost, Survivor, Apprentice, top model, Chefs etc I find extremely boring. I know they are going to appeal to someone.

Shows like Big Brother, Lost, Survivor, Apprentice, top model, Chefs etc I find extremely boring. I know they are going to appeal to someone.

Unless I've got it totally wrong, Lost isn't reality TV, it's a drama. That's like asking "When does that guy in 24 sleep?"

Shows like Amazing Race etc might have a plan & a storyline (both of which can be planned & can be changed or amped up as needed) but they aren't scripted. Reality fans who are really into how them know how they work.

c'mon... how can a professional golf player... who's being playing for 20 years... played the same courses, over and over and over again, under all sorts of weather conditions... possibly hit a ball (from the same place they've been hitting it for the last 20 years) into a bunker!! that must be scripted as well right!!

The Bigsound music conference & showcase kicks off today. I've got 3 interviews today & tonight, there's bands in 12 venues in the Valley for me to check out. Same tomorrow.

I had that happen at both Hilton properties in Berlin. 9am seems a common time.. so I now leave the DND sign on my door if I'm sleeping in.

If the hotel has a DND sign, I'm a massive fan of using it.

Maybe admin can sell DND signs for those times the hotels (like the one I'n in) don't have one...

I used to use DND signs almost all the time, until I realised that using DND excessively may have lead to my missing out on several benefits - letters from the manager, bowls of fruit or water which hadn't been added to my room in time for my check-in, turndown services, etc.

If a housekeeper tries to open a room after knocking on the door with no response, then hits the deadbolt in the process, I think that's an adequate sign that I'm inside and to p*ss off. (Of course, if that sounds wakes you up, little problem...)

Well a golf game is real. So if it's on tv it must be reality tv. Therefore it must be scripted. Seems logical.
