No, you know where I live - not that high up. Just walked past the "purple palace" and it looks eerie shrouded in fog.

LOL, it was errie without the fog, a good example of how to wreck a nice home in an effort to get over a failed marriage.

Clear down the coast as well! Afternoon storms predicted today though, could make my time at OOL a bit more interesting!

Horrid weather last night in Melbourne. I am surprised we weren't busier than we were. Not complaining, mind!

Yep was outside at 1am rolling up the bistro blinds lest the decided to go sailing down the street.

Dropping my son at Daycare this morning. As I parked, I wondered why two crows are pecking at something in the roof drain. Then a 6 foot python raised his/her head. Needless to say, I took my son inside (after first showing him the snake) and alerted the Manager. Came back out and watched the snake reach up 3 foot to a tree branch and left as it wrapped itself around a high branch. It's too big for the crows to carry, but the crows were trying to get breakfast and lunch. The snake is trying to wait it out.

Snake catcher called and employee posted to watch the snake in case it drops and tries to make a run for it - exits are either past the front door or into a shed or around to my sons' room

Woke this morning, looked outside the window and saw my first pea soup thick fog in a long time. I am ~10kms directly west of the airport, so would expect delays this morning. Lucky it's not Thursday because I'd be at the airport cooling my heels...

We had fog like that all around Breakfast/Enoggera creek last week. I couldn't see Herston hill from home (Monday or Tuesday). On the drive to the city, you could not see the RBH from Freedom on the corner of Newmarket Rd and Bowen Bridge Rd; as soon as you got to the hospital, it was as though there was no fog at all! From there into the city was fine. Most strange.

Not sure who does look forward to it, except for those without anything better to do or could use a bit of time away from their boss (or spouse or parents or mother-in-law......)

If I was sitting in the hotseat, I'd hate to be judged by my civillan peers.
