My keyboard keeps disappearing on the iPad when I try to type sometimes. Hate that!

I probably shouldn't have gone drinking with an Australian lady that I met on the cable car yesterday. It was fun until some guy from El Salvador distracted said Australian lady by speaking Italian (she is Italian) & Spanish to her. I did love, though, her & a local lady talking to each other in Italian. That was so hot but I had no idea what was doing on. They ended up going off together...

Seems this is the popular thing for Aussie kids to do this summer!

I can't believe the excitement she gets just because she gets neknominated. Whoppee. Someone tags her so she's excited? And then HAS to skol a drink. Whatever happen to youth who thinks for themselves.

Thinking for yourself died out a long time ago. Much more important to be part of the group.

Here I am thinking assets have made us
a conservative bunch.
You go through phases where people are planking, neknominated , tweeted and facebooked.
By the time I notice it has switched to something else.

The technology I am scared of is Pay Pal beacon. No cash or CC needed in businesses using it.no Amex with Pay Pal so where are my airline and hotel points going to come from?

Had to look up this activity.

For some reason, that reminded me of the older generation gimmick of the yard of ale. :)

Drron is a treasure and we need more Australians deciding to keep at work even if it is part time.
The idea that everyone over 60 is past it is far from the truth when we get so many recent school leavers who cannot count and cannot communicate.
Almost ten percent of our current workforce is now 60 or older and they are loyal hard workers.

Hmmm, this tells me where I may be able to get a job should I need it, cove - and I wouldn't even have to certify my age ;).

(Folks: in joke - cove and I recently discovered we were in the same class in early primary school. Wouldn't be surprised if he was working on FF points schemes even then :p).

I had to Google it too. It just seems such a pathetic thing to do. Not the actual drinking but the excitement just because someone tags you. I don't get it.

Wait til JohnK logs on. :p

Frequent Flyer programs first appeared in the early 1970s and didn't really take off until they were refined and copy-catted in the early 1980s in the USA. Contrary to popular belief AAdvantage actually wasn't the first such scheme, but it was the game changer in 1981, with Mileage Plus and SkyPesos appearing later that year. These three programs are still going today ;)

haha, I'm sure master cove was sitting in class plotting Suites Saver Awards from a very young age :p

The person who drove his BMW at 125 in a 60 zone is now walking so his New Year resolution to get more exercise is going to work very well. His car went off to the impound yard and will come available in a month after a hefty fee is paid.

How do you know his new years resolution was to walk more; maybe his new years resolution was to be on time more often.

Good thing you wouldn't be seen driving a BMW, or how would I have got a visit from someone with a portable airconditioner in the back of their car.

Its going to be a warm day in Perth and surrounds today, 44C is the maximum and overnight minimum of 28C, I hope I can make good use of my Hilton stay tonight, pity the one in Perth doesn't have a lounge.

Not so for quite a while now - Amex with Pay Pal is fine.

All my Telstra bills are paid with Pay Pal (using Amex now) - gives the full 1pt per dollar, rather than the Utilities 0.5 pt rate.

Neknominated?

I am not even going to bother opening video but it sounds like society is truly going downhill fast while we just sit back and watch. Not long now.

Done right, there's nothing wrong with Facebook & Twitter.

Despite having a couple of frequent flyer points to travel the world (I think it all started around the late seventies for us) we sometimes find road blocks to our efforts of travelling purely on points. Roadblocks can include no availability on the class and dates you want. The best roadblock of course is where the cash price of the air ticket is just so low you just cannot waste your points on that flight.
In 2013 we did 5 sectors for cash or should I say credit card.
