Is it similar to Facebook? Yes.

Facebook and MySpace are both social networking sites. IMHO MySpace is a lot trashier; I avoid it and use Facebook instead.

I agree that MS looks a lot more trashy... and unprofessional. That being said, a lot of Muso's seem to use it and it appears to be an effective tool for them.

Myspace is more for your 15-20 year old age group; older people use facebook, although I think with myspace you can be a lot more creative with the layout.

I closed my facebook account after an ex girlfriend who had never quite come to terms with our breakup tracked me down and made my life a misery for some weeks.
I like the concept but despite supposed privacy settings it's too insecure for my liking.
