I still have a compact Texas Instruments financial model from the early '80s but I haven't used it in a long while. It still has the user manual with it which I would definitely need now.

The Sydney Wool Stores at Yennora, office romance. Still together after 32 years. Mum always said - marry a good country boy.

Flashback is there are standout Visa or MasterCard for British Airways points like Citicards are for AA miles in the US at the moment? We bank at HSBC at the moment in London but that is purely to keep the show on the road and it is easy to transfer money at a fair price any day of the week.

The Diamond Club AMEX/Visa combo is great, but unfortunately no longer available to sign up for. Next best option will depend on your spend type, so there's a few to look at.

Woo hoo!

TSA PRE-CHECK 《TICK》

No need to take belt or shoes off, LAG's, netbook stay in case. :D

And some more interesting underground news: In pictures: photography exhibition shows all kinds of life on the London Underground - London - News - London Evening Standard

The photo is from a recent no pants day on the Tube.

No sign of Shepherd's Bush on that map...

Best wishes.

You don't see many office romances these days.

One has to be very careful in the place of employment these days.

I recall having to do what I called the Sexual Harrassment Panda course (official title - Respect & Dignity In The Workplace) a few years ago.

During this course, we were told that it was not acceptable to be reading what might be called a girlie magazine despite several of them being unrestricted & available for purchase at said workplace. I can understand that.

Someone asked the question about stinking out the mealroom with food. According to the instructor, this question & variations were asked on a daily basis. We were told that people had the right to eat whatever they wanted.

But back to office romances... it happens. I know of many couples who met on the job. After all, how much time do we spend working?

With about 38 hours of work and 130 other hours in a week it is possible to avoid work romance seeing there are so many spare hours.

I certainly have met some women at work where I have hit it off with them.

Each developed separate ways.

But claims that workplace romances are dead is just wrong. They are happening, just not in front of your eyes.
