Western Suburbs in any city in the southern hemisphere are not very popular. Something to do with the way the winds blow.
This motel looks alright but only 3 reviews on TripAdvisor although all positive.

Ummm.. Western Suburbs in Perth are probably the priciest going.

I think any motel in a major aust city @ $65 per night is cheap so have low expectations and be hopefully pleasantly surprised.
The tullamarine ibis at $126 seems decently priced.
You know me. Very low expectations but I wouldn't want to pay $65 and find that it is a total dump.
People said the same thing about Sleep&Go. More than acceptable.Ah JohnK. It can't be anything else but at that price.
You may get the ibis budget in the cbd for just under $100 which would be better.
I still need the car for golf on Saturday and Sunday so not really saving anything. I shall look to play a course somewhere in the East on Saturday and then head over to Sunshine on Sunday and back to airport.I still think airport @ $125 then pick up hire car next day.
You 2 have talked me out of it now.You definitely should do a tr if you stay at a $65 motel....
it'll be fine, all the hotels in Glen Waverley are fairly new.Car parking?
Now you guys have me worried. Ibis Glen Waverley is $77/night. I will be there tomorrow night.

It is on LastMinute, wotif etc. And yes I finally worked out it was a pub with motel rooms attached.John, if its the guiding star hotel I drive past every morning,
It looks very un appealing - I was surprised to find it offered accommodation - where did you hear of it?
...
Scrap that idea. I think Ibis Glen Waverley wins out. Now to find another golf course in the Eastern Suburbs that I can play in the members comp on Saturday.
Awesome, I'll check it out later. Thanks
