Now running 285 minutes late ... my flight to BNE departs 2 hours later ... And it's J0 ... Y0 ...

Is that yoga?

Yep.

Was able to actually clear my mind for once, but that is possibly only due to the fact that after a crazy 6 weeks work has finally started to settle down a bit. In any case, after the relaxation at the end I did actually feel quite relaxed, odd for me. Let's see how it goes.

You drink a whole bottle of 59 Grange and see how much you remember next morning let alone 2 years later (lol)

Only 1 bottle ? Lightweight! ;)

The first couple of classes, I felt like a bit of a doofus. But you get used to it, just give it time. It can also depend on the teacher, you need to find the right one for you.

Yeah - know the feeling. I'm not very flexible either, never have been .. so it presented its challenges!

NSW public servants (me included) are well aware of BOF led cutbacks to services & wages. I'm in the middle of protracted EA discussions (not me personally, of course).

So I have no sympathy & morale is up. He who lives by the sword should be prepared to die on his sword & that's exactly what happened. Procedures are in place, they weren't followed & he lied to ICAC & the people of NSW.
I concur 100%

I reckon my points earning tops yours. I haven't flown with QF since 2008 and emptied out my account in 2012 on classic J award x 2 pax with AA. Current balance 644,234. All Cards & Banking, Shopping and Phone & Web.

JohnK, you are arguing for the sake of it. It's a $3000 bottle of Grange. In the year of your birth. Given as a present. If you don't remember such a gift made less than 2 years ago then you have Alzheimer's.

Not arguing for the sake of it.

I woke up with ~$2, 500 in my wallet. I know I took out $880 (8 x $110) from ATM. I went to the RSL and came home after 5:00am.. The rest I don't remember.

Did I win that money or did someone give it to me?

This is a serious story. I was smart enough to leave ~$350 in uncollected payouts from pokies. My brother and mum heard me come home and said I was whistling/singing when I came home.

It is very possible to forget. Trust me. I have also woken up with ~$1, 600 missing from my wallet. I did not lose it on pokies. I would love to know what happened. I guess I will never know.

These two events occurred ~6 months apart but in opposite order. I suspect they are somehow related.

problems with memory... maybe too many bottles of Grange??

Oh yeah, the office Christmas party. That awful feeling the following morning….

On the back of a "Wicked Camper" today on the way to Geelong :
"Roses are red, violets are blue ,
I have Alzheimer's ,
Cheese on toast"

It is possible to forget.

I could have written a thank you note, obviously in my handwriting, and I would not remember.

I would not be lying.

Yeah? Ok then

I am arguing for the sake of arguing

.

To be relevant the question is not how you got the money but did you get the money at all. To be equivalent your analogy would see Bazza saying I did not get $1620, it did not exist. The money is there in the wallet. If you don't remember getting the money, claiming it doesn't exist is an outright lie.

The difference being the 2 scenarios you mentioned are self inflicted memory removal, whereas the wonker in question re: Grange was most likely sober when he received the bottle.... or am I missing something here?

It is possible to forget is all I am saying. Self inflicted or not.

I am not defending Barry O'Farrell.

definitely along the lines of ' i did not inhale your honor'
