The answer may be either 50 or 51 depending on construction.

Here's a plan of a possible 51 post design:

(For this question, IMHO, 'long' is not indicative of anything other than the total length of the fence)
Actually both of the pictures will have 50 posts, because the first and last post is the same. A straight 150m length of fence will have 51 posts.

Did a full clean out of my laptop for the first time since purchase. Disassembled the chassis, removed the cooling fan, got out the air compressor to give everything a blow out, scraped off the old thermal paste and replaced it.

Everything seems OK so far, so it looks like nothing is damaged. The unit doesn't sound particularly different to before, except there was quite a bit of dust present when the fan was removed initially.

Also, I'm starting to wonder whether my unit was some sort of refurb or factory second or something... because I discovered one chassis screw is missing, one of the chassis latches was already weakened and there's quite a bit of duct tape on the inside. How the hell has it worked for more than 3 years now is a real mystery......

at least you didn't buy a house that had masking tape instead of walls (yes it happened to us - we just laugh at it now - not a full wall but still theres more than one decent size patch of wall thats just masking taped then painted over).

No solar system for you Flashback. If you did it might rain for months and keep the tourists from visiting.

Is this hermaphrodite rooster in the northern or Southern Hemisphere? Which side it falls down could be affected by the rotation of the earth, everything else being exactly equal. ( I can't remember the name of the effect that dictates which way water spirals down a drain hole)

I believe the term you are looking for is the Coriolis effect, although it actually has very little to do with the direction that water spirals down a drain hole, e.g. in your sink or toilet. Much less a hermaphrodite rooster, unless we are talking about a gigantic roof, a mammoth sized egg and an obviously genetically freakazoid Godzilla-is-a-babe-in-arms massive-sized rooster.

Huh? The first image is indeed supposed to be of a fence arrange in a strait line of 150 metres ... 51 posts ... maybe a little thick in construction ...

OK, not everyone uses windows ... with the correct fonts ... posts now edited ...

Must be something with the graphics set or the like, because all I can see is a box (or a box with random hexadecimal in it).

How many stories does the hotel have? It may well be a long drop. ;)
