I must be seriously scary because I'm increasingly noticing that other blokes want to use the cubicle for number ones, whenever I'm using the wall. Not sure how these blokes would handle having to share a communal shower with a bloke who with the work rumour of having been in every Australia prison if they're scared of me.

Haha, interesting - I've noticed that a lot in the UK (at places of work) too.

And that is a very good reason to be here in Victoria.

I prefer having winter to the two seasons you have in Queensland, hot and hotter.

And it's still warmer than the last two places I've lived ;)

Some friends just rang from Jindabyne to tell me it is is snowing heavily

The walk to the car at ADL last night reminded me of the day we had in Florence when the first of the winter storms hit bringing snow to the alps. Italy might have been a bit warmer.

And that is a very good reason to be here in Victoria.

Driving home reminded me of the times we had the car heater on full blast driving home from swimming training in cairns.

Just speaking to my brother who's been in Normanville (SA) for the last six weeks. He wants me to research a VA fare back to Brisbane ...

Reckons TAS/VIC have nothing on that place in winter with the weather that has been coming through the "Investigator Strait" (I had to look that up!).

Investigator Strait is a body of water lying between the Yorke Peninsula, on the Australian mainland, and Kangaroo Island in South Australia. It was named by Matthew Flinders after his ship, HMS Investigator, on his voyage of 1801-1802.

Here I was thinking it was referring to the secret life of one of our AFF moderators. :p

There is just one problem with it getting to 27C on the Sunny Coast today.I am in Armidale.By midday the wind went right through you. However apparently Sunday is not going to be a day I will like.but it will probably keep everyone indoors and I might have a quiet weekend on call.

On a lighter night one of the IMGs up here who is good and I have encouraged to think of more than just being a rural hospital rural doc has got a job in Newcastle.I have told him that if he meets a certain FACEM to say Hello Princess from drron.
