I am ashamed to be Australian if this is the way we treat our citizens.

Burqa crackdown: 'Facial coverings' restricted in Parliament House public galleries

And now there's a claim that Bronnie and her opposite number in the Senate made the knee-jerk decision to put burqas behind glass on rumour of a burqa protest in the public gallery.

Burka segregation rules rushed through amid rumours of protesters planning to disrupt Question Time - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

What's next, putting a group of blue-rinse grannies behind glass because of a rumour of a protest?

Received two documents from Woolworths Money folks but only one was ours. So Mrscove phones Woolworths Money and they try to tell her that the second person may use the same PO Box as us. We have had this PO Box for more than 20 years so clearly their mail merge of name to address was a fail.
I guess we will need to send the documents back as a return to sender.

Wrong place, wrong time at the wrong security level & I have no sympathy.

I was at 4500m; the hill (Volcan Parinacota) is 6330m.

Now at Arica, the northernmost city on the Chilean coast. Feels strange being at sea level.

The long haul S to Antofagasta tomorrow. Pffft - the roads are so good here, it'll be a doddle, even in the dual-cab 4WD.

Then Sunday it's ANF-xSCL-xMAD-LHR. Dining in posh Chelsea Tuesday night.

It's indeed a world of wonderful contrasts ;) ;).
