So I cancelled another 2 x CC today - just another simple exercise in earn and burn - you wanna sit up front you gotta snip, snip, snip - or pay - OMG no - keep on snippin'.

In convo with one guy as I was cancelling he said when snipping card up make sure you cut through the chip so as to negate any possible chance pay wave usage if falling into wrong hands.

Must admit had never thought of this before but makes total sense huh?

Sad news that BB has died, not totally unsurprising as he had been ill for some time. However he kept playin' the blues live and touring almost non stop until only recently. he used to do up to 250 performances a year.

Might be an evening for getting out some of his albums and having a red wine or two.

BB King, legendary blues guitarist, dies in Las Vegas aged 89 - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)

One thing I didn't know, from wiki: King was an FAA licensed Private Pilot and learned to fly in 1963 at what was then Chicago Hammond Airport in Lansing, Illinois.[SUP][/SUP] He frequently flew to gigs, but under the advice of his insurance company and manager in 1995, King was asked to fly only with another licensed pilot; and as a result, King stopped flying around the age of 70

Southwest Airlines Passenger Says Flight Crew Wouldn

In what can only be described as a tragic turn of events, a Wisconsin woman says that after she received a troubling text from her husband while on board a Southwest Airlines flight about to take off, she was told she couldn’t call him. When she arrived home, police informed her that her husband had taken his own life.

The woman says the alarming text came moments before her flight from New Orleans to Milwaukee was set to take off, when he sent a message asking her for forgiveness for committing suicide, reports WTMJ-4 News (warning: link contains video that auto-plays).

“I started shaking the minute I got the text and I was panicked, I didn’t know what to do,” she said, adding that she immediately replied “no,” and went to call him.

But a flight attendant making her final checks told her she had to turn her phone off or put it in airplane mode, and “slapped the phone down,” the passenger says.

When she explained the situation, the woman says the attendant told her it was “FAA regulations.”

Whilst horrific I'm not sure that the crew really knew what was happening nor were equipped to deal with it. They seem harsh but without context arguably appropriate.

Well, I don't know where the Reds have been hiding their second half against the Rebels. Down 11-17 at half time, they scored 5 tries to win 46-29

I don't where they've been hiding that second half all season. The last ten minutes were not good.

It's a bit of a shame really as the Rebels were still a chance of making the finals before this result. A couple of Aussie teams in the finals would be good for the game in a World Cup year and the Rebels making it would have been good for Rugby in Victoria. Maybe next year.

Nervous butterflies in my tummy. First flights since 3rd Jan today. As much as I love travel, it's always hard leaving the family.

Particularly after Little Miss commented on Thurs night "I hope your plane doesn't crash, Mum". :o

Butterflies should be gone by the time I sit in 4F on the way to SYD ...

You know what sucks? Getting a sweet updated A330 from MEL to SYD, then getting a coughpy old one from SYD to SIN.

Wrong way around!
