Stimulus and tax employees more.

Anyone want to donate towards the $2000 increase in my tax bill? You can even donate to the charity that is going to lose out on $1000 as a result.

Oh and change work related car expenses, I wonder who thought of doing that first.

Still haven't had phone line since at least Friday after NBN installation. Providers blaming each other. Regardless, I've been without a phone line since Friday. I don't care but that also means mum hasn't had her Vital Call unit active since Friday. Gggrrrrr.

Ok, I'm official old. Just read a news story about the use of the term "FHRITP". (Seriously not suitable for work, if you google it. Adults only)

I don't get it. Besides being demeaning, it's pure nonsense if it's meant to be an insult or something.

He was sacked by his employer so what goes around comes around. We had one on ABC news recently during a live cross.

Can the world get any more disgusting?

People actually use that phrase? Lowlifes wasting valuable oxygen human beings can breathe. ...

The thing is, its nonsensical. Totally demeaning, disrespectful and degrading. But What does it even mean? That they want to do something that millions of loving couples do everyday. It's not the girl's fault she's completely out of their league.

I google for his facebook page so I could say "sucked in loser." Couldn't find it. :(

Turns out there is an upside to my last job stuffing me around and not ending my employment properly. I've started my new job with 100+ hours of sick leave in the bank. I call that a win. Plus I've discovered that one of my new colleagues is in fact a colleague from two jobs ago, and she was always one of my favourites.

Ok. Googled and read on a non-work computer. It originated as a viral online prank. Clearly these guys are too stupid to realise.

Normal programming will resume in a moment.

Hit a kangaroo on the way home..... bugger. Car still drivable at least, but new lights and bumper will be required as a minimum, and the hire car option is on the other car... Son, I want my car back for a while.

The original was actually a prank. Called out on Reddit. I won't post a link because of the rude words but here is a quote from knowyourmeme website.
is an obscene quote that gained much notoriety online after it was widely thought to have been said by a videobombing prankster during the live broadcast of a local news report in Cincinnati, Ohio. The stunt was eventually debunked as a viral hoax campaign orchestrated by filmmaker John Cain after a third video purported as a newscast blooper was posted to Reddit in May 2014.

Watching SBS1 - Sacred Wonders of Britain. Just showed Iona, to think it was only 51 weeks ago that we were there. Beautiful place, must do TR.

Ha ha this reminds me of an old thread.

Some things never change.

FWIW your $2k will be going to help clear up the mess the last lot created.

No more comments though it's probably off topic (even though there isn't one)

The difference is who is being asked to pay. Why can't we all chip in? Not to mention $1000 of my $2000 is probably going to go to the "charity" is I am currently directly paying. Waste of money/productivity to have the ATO collect the money and then pay it back to the organisation that is no longer getting the money.

If this sounds complex, it is. But it NSW the hospital system gets a big chunk of money from their employees via tax benefits to the employees. So get money back by cutting the tax benefit, but then create a hole in the health system that needs to be filled with that money.

The whole tax system is way too complex I'll agree with you on that. There are too many people/corporations paying a lot less than they should
