No, but it's been a problem for some years now with plague spread from flees from squirrels. The tent accomodation is specifically designed to be easily fumigated.

Stop dragging out that old hoary chestnut. it was only at that level for about 3.45 months. You also had massive inflation making the value of your purpose increase at a significant rate. Not to mention the massive wage increases. Basically misleading at best.
Wrong. I got my first loan in October 1989 at 17% and had a honemoon discount of .3% for first 12 months I think. It was at the level for at least 6 months?

My property didn't increase significantly through the years and the salary increases were due to me working my butt off and taking on more responsibility. The trainees we were hiring were getting minimal increases.

Today the interest rates are a third of what they were then and my salary has not changed much because they have been bringing people in on 457 visas to drag the salaries down. We are all part of a team and paid as a team even though those on 457 visas do 1/4 of the work. And the worst part is you can't say anything because you are then labelled a racist.

Off to the dentist. Sedation and ventolin.

Why am I still scared? Hopefully don't have to worry again in 2 hours. :(

Saw a chap wearing thongs in the SYD QF F lounge, seems the new dress regulations were only suggestive.

Whilst it didn't put me if my NPPP it wasn't a good look.

I'm flying BA today and the QF checkin agent asked me why no QF today, I weaselled out of it "sometimes you have to fly other airlines to realise just how good you have it". God I hope they have seen those SQ sectors ;)

I think they would be very careful and selective to those they decided not to allow entry to the F lounge in thongs.

J and QP has rules but F. I wonder...

I found a few friends email addresses in the leak. Some even used email addresses with their name in it.
Not sure what other details were leaked.

Anything special on in Melbourne Saturday night??
I have an American friend who is Captain on EY460 arriving 5:20pm.
We would have flown down to have dinner with him, but it's our Anniversary weekend, and have "other" things planned.

I can FB him your suggestions.

Buzzard I believe pink ones are for ladies. One of my friends who lives in California said that it takes 14 days to work so tequila works so much faster. It is interesting what the next generation know.

Tooth gone and most of the pain gone with it.

Had laughing gas + sedation + fentanyl + my jaw was numb so I guess had local anesthetic as well which I told them not to give. I remember putting on mask for laughing gas and breathing in/out 4-5 times and don't remember much more. I vaguely recall waking up once during procedure but then out again. Went home by train. Slept for 15-16 hours and still feeling groggy in office now. But glad the pain gone.

Finished a filling as well so hoping not to need dentist again for a long time.

Good to hear you are now ok.

Obvious you didn't have a home loan back then.

A similar assertion was made before, and I corrected it before in the 'HousingAffordability' thread - with a graph, too!

Keating did a number of good things with the economy. I don't understand why his absolute screwing of mortgage holders can't be accepted as well.
