JohnK the current top personal tax rate is 49% up from 46.5% a couple of years ago.This includes the latest levies.
Lowering the company tax rate to 28.5% is a joke when the top personal rate should be dropped to 35% to incentivize hard work.

Exchange rate worries me heaps. Blood pressure is fine.

Don't quite understand the logic behind reducing company tax rates and increasing personal tax rates makes no sense.

Said it before, and here it is again. the greatest tax reform would be to remove the vast majority of Offsets and deductions, and then reduce the tax rates accordingly. The compensation of not being allowed to claim the expense of earning is the lower tax impost. Just collect the money and don't recycle it in great, productivity sapping, cash whirlpools. The Tax act should be able to be reduced from 10,000 pages to 15 pages.

I do the same. ..with the CBA rights, I have set up autopay just before the due date...can cancel if the share price drops a bit

The market price of CBA atm is just higher than the retail offer....I'll decide tomorrow as to whether I cancel the order!
