My JQ trick is to aim for the back row ... no kicking then ;)

Can't do anything about the cramped seats though ... it comes with the cheaper cost ...
That could well have been the right trick. Keep forgetting about the rear stairs.

Maybe Pushka is right. I am getting old and I fell asleep.

But in my defence I always finish posts with .... dots not just .. dots. Very strange....

You weren't sniffing the teabags again were you?

1971 Chrysler Valiant Charger R/T E38 2DR Coupe Manual.

What's it worth?

.... In the dealer guide, your car model, inclusive of any factory options or accessories you have listed, has a value range of $104450 to $120100 depending upon its condition....

Wow! Now that's an investment. They weren't that expensive in the early 80's.

I could say the same for Sydney property.

2 Bedroom semi in Randwick bought in Dec 1987 for $84,000 sold last year for $1.3m - cheaply renovated inside, no extension (either out or up).

Also remember average weekly wage in Australia in 1974 was $47.

Says much about inflation does it not?

Not necessarily.

How much is a 1978 VB Commodore worth today? Or a 1974 Holden Kingswood Sedan?

For some reason some things appreciate in value over the years. Right place at the right time.

Do you have the prices for those two cars in 'good' condition?

A 1983 Commodore full price was $12,990 drive away for reference.

The market value of a 1974 HQ Holden Kingswood in good condition would be $2150.

The market value of a 1978 VB Holden Commodore in good condition would be $1300.

The market value of 1983 VH Holden Commodore in good condition would be $1950.

Go figure.

Today flying GYE-MIA on AA had the youngest ever self upgrader ever.Unlikely he had seen his second birthday he toddled up from Y intent on getting into the open coughpit.Blocked by the FA he settled into 1F until collected by his mother. An hour out of MIA he came through the curtain up to Row 1 and gave the occupants a look implying "What are you doing in my seat?"

Obviously a future union leader or politician!

+1.

My number two son commutes back and forth MEL-LST during his uni year. He always asks for rear row, never has problems stowing his bag and is also first to deplane through rear door.

FWIW, I prefer not to be in the last row - too close to the loss, but YMMV.

Today's been described as Back To The Future Day as this is the day that Marty McFly goes to i the second movie.

Where's my flying car & hoverboard?

There's various memes & posts online today about the day. Some of them (especially from our various police services) are quite well done.
