I'm a self confessed tightwad - and get a good month of out those; but I do shave in the shower. The performance is noticeably diminished as time passes, but I also have a very heavy stubble.

LOL! It has gotten to the point where I cannot judge when I need to throw away the disposable razor as it is still doing its job after 10-12 shaves. I usually shave every second day and can get close to a month out of the disposable razor.

Mal your inbox is full.
Would you like a BKK meet up.

Inbox now sorted. I always seem to struggle with the limit I have, but have cleaned up some older messages.

Looking forward to catching up.

The basis for an AFFer kennel club business?

My sister in law is not far off opening a cattery, alas it is not in Australia though!

Do blades last on average a month each?

I get up to 6 months on mine... Generally use every 2-3 days, sometimes daily if I can be bothered / am going into the office. Not sure what you guys are doing to them!

Percutaneous Liver Biopsy.

Recommended at Haepatology clinic that I need to do this procedure. Let's forget about the stress side of the procedure. They can accidentally puncture your lungs, gall bladder, pancreas etc. Or you may bleed after the procedure and need a blood transfusion. Oh and there is a 1 in 10,000 chance of dying.

Has anyone had this procedure or know anyone that has had the procedure? I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling thinking about it. I have 6 months to think about it but will have another Fibroscan and ultrasound before then. I am scared of this liver biopsy.

LOL just paid the kennel for looking after our mutts while we're enjoying our xmas euro holiday ... there's $2.5K I won't see again.

I feel your pain. We have booked our cat in for all of next June, $336 down payment, and $672 on arrival at the "Pet Hotel".

Just another added cost in the whole travel thing...

Wowsers. Our boarding place is about $18 a day. Run by a Vet Nurse in the country.

Yikes. My cattery is rather cheap by comparison ($21/day) and they take fabulous care of my deaf cat. She hates strangers but has been going there her whole life and I think they'd keep her if they could. $50 deposit up front for xmas with the rest on pick-up at the end of the stay.

Ah yes...Cup Day. That accounts for the classy talent in the city this morning...
Yes great shame that young Australians are out enjoying themselves on a public holiday in MEL - heading off to an event that the whole of Australia stops for! Do you boo Santa too Walter? Try to skittle the Easter Bunny in your car too? ;)

Good luck to them I say.

Have you thought of looking at something like Trusted House Sitters :?:

I have not used them for house sitting and am not in a position to do so but our daughter (and family) are just starting to house sit around the world and it works well for both parties.

Our next holiday just got named (yes, we give our holidays working names  )
"Holden" because all the flights are F.J. (hubby's choosing)
