The "pin" method is rather common - I've seen a communal map in an office where people have stuck pins marking where the office collectively has been to.

I hope my pin method is a bit better than common.

That's why I love my big framed wall map, you can only stick a pin in the city you have been too (i.e have left the airport) We each have a different colour pin.

Well, you picked a nicer map than the one I mentioned. They just have a common political map that wouldn't be out of place in an atlas.
 
Had a close call with a semi last night on my way home. I'm in lane 1 (left lane). Semi is in lane 2. He cuts me off to get to an exit. Not something that you want on a motorway at 90kph. I had to brake to avoid the truck.

Glad I had a dashcam to capture the moment.

A while ago, I mentioned about getting a drink machine for a mealroom.

We now have 2 machines, both of a similar type. The first machine had a $1.20 coin kit & the second has a $1 kit. We converted the first machine to a $1 kit.

The first machine had a part in the motor area burn out but is now going well.
