QF would be cancelling some domestic flights today because of fewer bookings?

The Qantas new A330 refurbishment is pretty good, even the cabin crew liked it as well, last time I was in a plane to be refurbished it was still having seats added.
It is a long day when starting in Brisbane and arriving in Perth I needed a rest in the middle.
Merry Christmas to all.

Merry Christmas to all. Didn't know whether to post this in the Wines I've tasted, Rockfords discussion or TTOTT, but plumped for the latter.
Cheers, it was gorgeous :D

Braved Chadstone Shopping Centre this morning; boy was that an eye-opener. Huge line of cars to get in, but I lucked out and drove straight into a parking spot. I have never seen it to busy before. Silly thing is the discounts weren't that good, shoes I bought before Christmas were more expensive now than when I bought mine...

Exactly - I don't know why people bother. I had to drop off family at MEL at 10:00am. The queue for Essendon DFO was almost back to Essendon airport.

Incidentally, the main long term car park at Tulla was full and employees were turning people away from the entrances. One or two got in; I assume they had booked in advance. Goodness knows where you'd go.

Glad we're PT'ing it to the airport

Traffic on the freeway was banked from the Warrigal rd exit to Huntingdale road...I bailed there and snuck around the "back" way. Crazy though that they had many carpark entrances closed to funnel traffic which just made it all worse. I think i got quite lucky.

West Indies doing much better in Boxing Day test.

They won the toss and put Australia in to bat. Yes put Australia in to bat because they thought this way the test could last 3 days. Australia only made 345 for the loss of 3 wickets.

Belated festive wishes to all.

Christmas Eve dinner was at my auntie's place, and Christmas Day lunch was at my house with my cooking :shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:. Surprisingly it went quite well. Roast Turkey and Pork both came out well. (Used foil on the turkey to begin with to keep the juices in, and started the pork off at high temperature to get the crackling to crackle). Various roast veg on the side.

Wine was good. Company excellent.

Boxing Day and Today were doing dishes and a food coma.

Indeed. I had turkey for breakfast for two mornings and that was OK (it's finished now).

The rest of the honey-glazed ham that I prepared on Christmas Eve is slowly being consumed in various sandwiches. Perhaps some will also be eaten tomorrow with a side of wombok salad.

I need to go buy some hats.......

I do keep my hair short, since doing the "shave for a cure" a couple of years ago. I call it the Maggie Tabberer look.

I usually go a number 7 when we cut it at home (i.e not having any colouring done)
Hubby cut it, but I found he missed a bit, he just picked up the shaver and cut it..... not realizing he had not put the cutting head back on...... I now have a bald strip about 3 inches long and cutting head wide.

Now have a number 2 hair cut, and will have to wait for the bald spot to grow....

Yes, sitting at computer with a hat on.
