Now you become a fully fledged worker on the same day mrsdrron becomes WP.You love shopping for shoes, she loves shopping for shoes, you could never do HCO trips neither can she. This is starting to look a little suspicious :p:confused:

mrsdrron sounds like a wonderful lady. I would love to meet her one day - we might somehow be related!

Well mrsdrron had her first flight as a WP yesterday and QF celebrated the occasion by sending our bags on a free holiday.Unfortunately the Worldtracer facility has no idea where they are.I do hope they are enjoying themselves:evil:

Not unusual for Worldtracer to know nothing about the bags. They have to be located first before they can be traced...

Now is the time to buy those non-essential, but still essential items that you are missing. Keep the receipts and make the claim...

The bags arrived in BNE on the red eye.Now embarking on their road trip to the sunny coast.Mrsdrron thinks she should also be credited with her luggages mileage:cool:

Well that's reasonable service. :)

And have now arrived home.Minus 1 TSA lock.Otherwise all appears fine with nothing else missing.

I do hjope your bags didn't take your credit cards on their sojourn. Could be very expensive little sightseeing holiday for the the bags if they decide to turn the scenic route into a retail experience

Credit cards or any details thereof have been strictly HCO for some time now.Unfortunately the bags are not letting us in on any of the details of their trip.
Was good to see the original baggage tags for QF528 with attached business stickers still in place. In future though probably should get the tags from PER which read RUSH.Then to NM mrsdrron. Now how do you get QF to issue your personal name tags NM.

You will likely have to question them intensely when they arrive home!

This is where the personally names tags provided to AA Exec platinum members come in handy ;)

Just when you think you have it under control something happens to trigger another occurrence and a not so pleasant outcome follows....

With a little detective work and our luggage uncovering their secrets I now have the travel details for the family on 21/11.
Dr and Mrsron QF528 SYD-BNE Seats 1D,F.ETD-1305. ETA-1335
Actual pushback-1323.At gate-1342.
Our lovely blue bags-
QF577 SYD-PER.Somewhere in hold A332.ETD-1200.ETA-1355.
Actual-pushback-1203.At gate-1401.
QF594 PER-BNE.In hold of B73H.ETD-1645.ETA-2310.
Actual-Pushback-1641.At gate-2256.
QF Road Courier-22/11.Dep BNE-0800.Arrived Caloundra-0915.

And now for the important things-yes none of our electricals, jewellery, cameras etc were in the checked bags.Obviously I had a premonition as I had taken out the Blue Elephant curry sauces from the bags and put it in my carryon.Anything essential should obviously go there.

Mrs drron thinks she should also be credited with her luggages mileage:cool:
I think that's a reasonable punishment for QF. I don't understand how in this day and age that airlines can still lose bags or load them onto the wrong flight.

Meanwhile, just finished with the ruler in Google Earth. Worked out that I've walked nearly 20kms around Canberra. Add that to last nights effort while taking night shots and its nearly 30kms. No wonder I feel shattered, specially since I forgot to bring my bloody Akubra and am feeling the effects of heat stroke.

Will now sit in corner and wait for well deserved finger pointing, laughing, and offering of dunce's hat

Night shots? With a camera? A gun? a bottle of Scotch?
