For me the point of travel is often the experience not the destination. Perhaps all these stories on home ownership and money are just reflections of people's experience not their destination. BTW I reckon owning a home has some downsides along with the benefits. Large home generally equals large upkeep.

Penegal just watch out for my Svetlana when you are trying to get to DINK status. She can be a real schemer and scammer if given a chance.

So in the past 24months, I've made a total of three business related trips (from Sydney) - daytrip to Melbourne, a week in the US, and four days in in Europe.
By any definition (at least on this forum) I'm hardly flying frequently, will still maintain QF Gold all the way to end of 2017 however.

This afternoon I'm going to a job interview that will likely lead to much more flying into Asia, US and Europe. Hope it pans out! or my hiatus from here might continue...

Good luck with your interview

Thanks!

I'm not overly confident, possibly only 50-50, and my own business is sustaining me enough at the moment if it doesn't work out anyhow. Its more an opportunity than anything else, a rare position that doesn't become available often so I'm having a go!

Let's hope school teacher isn't very high on the priority list.

Well in a conceivable future, teachers might also go the way of the dodo. Reminds me of a DS9 episode.

Another alternate timeline took place on Gaia, where the crew of the USS Defiant crashed two hundred years in the past. Jadzia Dax programmed a simulation of Quark from the ship's security files to teach math to the children born there. Yedrin Dax noted "Quark was always good with numbers."
