RIP Tangles.

Have I said before how much I hate cancer? :(

I also hate suicide and the lasting results just as much.

Im surprised by how sad I am.... its the good feelings from childhood being brought back.

That little kid, "Have a good weekend, Mr Walker." A safer, kinder time and he was only 68.

Like usual, you dont realise how much you liked someone until they are gone.

The saga continues. No resolution yesterday so back on the phone. They have asked Telstra to check the line. I get a call from a contractor this morning to confirm the address - my old address!

So now I have had to go back to iinet and they tell me Telstra will check the line sometime between now and ... wait for it ... October 4.

Phone data pretty much used up, so now I am tethering to the iPad.

Is there an emoji for banging my head against the wall?

My experience was surprisingly good with Telstra. (Telstra customer)
Did livechat to report landline down. Time to fix was 3 days which spanned a weekend.

I told my one and only staff member in ADL to stay at home if she was worried - and she has. She lives somewhere in the Hills and was very lucky last time but...

Tangles was also a great raconteur and a good author. I have a few of his books

RIP Max

Back in the early 80s Max brought out a cricket board game.My son wanted one so we went to a sports store near the old Hordens buiding.Well Max was there to promote his game so I said Max we are actually here to buy it.Wasn't he pleased. No other customers in the store and at that moment a severe storm hit.We were stuck with him for ~ 40 minutes.Dont think he took a breathe.Still remember most of the stories.

Here's hoping that we don't get a repeat of this today.
I'm still getting over this one.

Dont like your chances buzz! We are just down GHR but hope we will be safe from the mammoth gum trees. The last major storm in Feb a couple of years ago took out our power for three days when that tree fell across GHR. We live about 400 metres away.

Does anyone know why I can't install Uber on Samsung Galaxy S5 with 472MB free? Is Uber app bigger than that?

I have lots of photos and now videos of daughter that I need to manage.

I would have thought that's enough. The Play Store says that the size can vary by device - not very useful - but Facebook occupies a couple of hundred MB; I'd be surprised if Uber is bigger than that.

Does Play Store give you an error message that you don't have enough space?

I think the current download is about 21 MB. Usage will then increase when you allow access to GPS and other systems

RIP Mr Walker.
MrP as a member of ACA (first class cricketers association) receives a free skin cancer check every year as well as a general assessment. Back in his days of playing, no sunglasses, drinks only once an hour regardless of the temp, and as sponsors, Benson & Hedges handed out cartons of cigarettes every match. Times have changed.
