And Immigration is the worst. Dealt with them during the Ruddock days. In a previous life through work we hosted a senior Bureaucrat from the Philippines Government. She was Minister in charge of their Community Welfare Department. We organized a private meeting with Ruddock and she came away saying he was the most chauvinist person she had ever met.

I think that Dept comes from the premise that everyone is out to do harm.

What youve got to remember is you are trying to take a national born child out of the country and they dont know you/your wife's story to know if its legit so a few jumped hoops is expect.

Just be patient and do what you have to do... Come this Christmas, it will all be a memory while you get to enjoy the best Christmas ever with your family.

Like many others here I travel HLO with the requisite daily washing of certain clothing items every couple of days. Did so last night and didn't realise that the hair conditioner (which I find great for hand washing) was coconut scented.

I'm going to be smelling like a coconut for the next few days.

An ex of mine covered herself in that stuff every day. Not sure if it was good for her skin but she seemed to think so.

If patience means waiting for bureaucratic red tape then I have to schedule trips to Thailand a month or more apart to get through that red tape and then leave even more time before I can bring them over then I'd be waiting months and months.

My wife and I are legally married and we both appear on my daughters birth certificate. My wifes visa has already been granted. Had I applied for daughters visa at same time then we wouldn't be having this conversation now as my daughter would have visa.

Am I asking and expecting a lot? I don't think so but could be totally wrong.

Ive been hearing him complain for about 2 days so far so I suspect my planned day off on Friday will be taken up with getting him fluids and him on the couch watching Westworld.

Me: Go have a hot shower
Him: Dont want to

If he doesnt stop sniffing, his funeral will be on Saturday.

Happens but looking at the wrapping, it was not enough. Probably not the guys fault, but if the load looks wobbly, get some extra wrapping on it.
