Oh  I can blame post-surgery head fog....still feel like a zombie.

I dont feel mean given she just peed on the dog bed immediately after coming in from outside.

Oh dear oh dear. Payback time. Make sure you get rid of the smell...

And me, being a bit mean, hope baby trashes the planning. Can see tears ahead for mother if she doesn't lighten up. I can see the importance of bonding etc, but heck it's a few weeks till the Christmas shutdown, so not as if baby is brand spanking new (as in days old). Also I think that babies brought up in large extended families with people around all the time do as well, if not better, than the closeted/bonded bubs. Just my 2c worth. I think new mum is quite selfish.

Update. You are right. Surprisingly (to them, anyway) baby has not slept properly since they left hospital Sunday. Will feed for a couple of minutes then fall asleep then wake up a few minutes later. Neither mother nor father has slept for more than a couple of hours. Baby will not sleep in the Swedish (I think) box that the new parents thought was Eco-friendly or some such thing. Baby always screaming. Such is the life of new parents :D

Oh BC, I'm sure poor Daisy is still confused by the medication and anaesthetic and didn't really mean to pee on the dog bed. I bet she feels really bad about it. Can you tell I'm on Daisy's side :)
Between her and your nose, it's a wonderful household there at present

Sounds like someone I know. ;)

But I don't think I am mean. Probably too nice.

So let me put this photo into context.

Our office window overlooks the rear entrance to a Massage Parlour. AKA Brothel.
This bin is shared by our office block (many businesses inside the complex) and the brothel. Both we and they dump stuff in it. No imagination needed for the trash they pop in the bin

We have a few people who collect 'stuff' in shopping trolleys. Today this guy wheeled himself into the pickup space next to the bin. Opened EVERY rubbish bag he could reach and went through the contents.

That wasn't good enough. Next thing - into the bin he goes

The brothel back door is just behind the palm tree.

Dishwasher: I LOVE our Samsung. Cleans well, has drying cycle. Only thing it doesn't do is unpack itself (you need one like that!).

(I HATE our Bosch).

You must be in an industrial area, or somewhere where the rent isn't too expensive.

I actually thought prostitution, or at least brothels, were illegal in SA.

I hope any sensitive documents you have disposed were either shredded or burned (or alternatively submitted to a known secure document destruction service).

We have a confidential bin inside the offices that is removed and destroyed by a Confidential waste shredding service. All that we put in the bin is kitchen scraps and the usual paper stuff.

Actually, it isn't industrial at all, but office Commercial.

Brothels are illegal but a blind eye is taken. So many people dont realise it is a massage parlour and say to us "is it any good" thinking we might pop in for a remedial massage.

Does this look like a remedial massage place (taken from their website).....

Surprisingly we haven't seen these two ladies having a smoko at the rear area.

JQi flight SYD-BNE booked for 27 December. First lounge guest spot available if anyone needs guesting.

Don't ever say never. ;) Humble pie? :p

So is this one of the ones you see smoking Pushka-

Sorry,couldn't help myself.

Ummm, whats he looking for in the bin?

And for brothels, I think we have 2 "massage" places in our complex because they have neon lighting that says massage and easy identifiable unit numbering and they are open on a saturday night and sunday but this business complex is practically empty on the weekend. Oh, and they are not registered for health fund gap/complimentary massage.

Vinegar does wonders.

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt (for the pee and the bite). Cat's just had her vet visit so between the three of us, we're a sorry bunch.

Our EA's daughter in England had a baby this week. All visitors are prohibited from visiting for the next few weeks - that's ok, settling and bonding. But they wont allow her mum to visit over Christmas when our office shuts down for 3 weeks. But she is allowed to come up for a visit in mid January or later.

I fully understand the limitation of visitors for the first few weeks but feel very sorry for our EA who can't spend a first Christmas for her first and likely only grandchild. And our office starts up the week she is allowed to fly to England to see them and no leave left. Plus we need her in the office as there is a major project kicking off that she leads.

The new mother is a project manager. And that is the plan she has for her baby daughter. Babies don't like being project managed.

Never have heard of that. That wouldn't fly with most southern Europeans.

Although one friends wife did had have post natal depression, so no visitors till she got well.

Stupid cricket selectors leaving Sayers out. He would thrive in the current conditions. His father and MrP played together for SA the year they won the Sheffield Shield. But another friend's son has been selected so that's something.
