Try towing a trailer and parking in cities frequently before you criticize.

You are often left with no choice that is immediately apparent to you.

Likewise the 4 second gap in front of me is there for stopping distance, not for you to quickly merge into (failing to indicate for 3 seconds prior to) and be offended when I sit on my horn at you for doing so and evasively brake to gain the gap back while I tow a trailer with load.

The person that posted the image on reddit, was asked about other spots. Here is their response:

There were about thirty empty spots at the back of the car park! And a completely empty car park across the road

Crazy scenes in Melbourne. Our office was locked down, and people are being told to stay away.

Those still in the office may now leave, but only by a back entrance.

Police now reporting 3 dead and 20 injured, Don't come into town tonight.

Offender in custody, not terrorist but criminal and related to an earlier stabbing in Melbourne.

It's never a good time, but a very bad time given our city is bursting at the seams with international tourists here for the tennis, etc.. Not a good way to show off our city and country.

I hope those injured can recover swiftly.

Agreed Penegal. With the great weather yesterday the CBD was packed with people especially kids. Flights to MEL packed. Accommodation expensive. And with the Tennis then world attention fully focused on Melbourne. Best wishes to all injured and I just hope that the children involved are all ok. But I fear not.

Just terrible - you have to wonder why someone would do that to innocent people going about their daily lives.
News reports say the driver was linked to a stabbing incident earlier in Melb.

Any tragedy involving kids makes it worse. Uggh, poor families having to deal with this.

The pro gun lobby have already started, all I can say is thank God he only had a car and not a gun. If he had a gun, it could have been 10 times worse and Im thankful for our gun laws.
Edit: Melbourne shooting in Bourke St Mall, CBD: David Leyonhjelm’s gun control tweet slammed
