The totally off-topic thread

This should be the 600th post of this thread.

Wrong 601st post.

That was my thoughts as well - F16 didnt need much runway to take off (and did so rather steeply). I didnt get to see said poultry as the A380 used the other runway (yes in the opposite direction to the F16) but safely say it took rather more time and distance to lift off.

Yeah right - only ever happens to you, repeatedly.

Anyway enough of this, starting to become a topic and we cant have that can we?

At asian aerospace there was an F16 warming up at one end of the runway while A380 taxiied towards the other end ready for takeoff. If they played chicken what do you think the outcome would be?
Lets see, 16 goes into 380 exactly 24 times (for small values of 16), so I expect we could collect two dozen eggs afterwards.

Of course you're assuming the chickens are metric chickens. What happens if they're imperial ones?

Not at all. Doesn't matter whether metric or imperial chickens since its the eggs that matter - they always come first.

You collected the eggs afterwards so clearly the chickens came first

You can rest assured that it is one or the other. :P

You are clearly assuming ascending chronology which cannot be proven, so perhaps the aircraft were travelling at eggzactly 88 miles per hour when they collided, thus breaking the space/time continuum and hence the eggs came first 8) .

The reason the A380 is so large is to fit the flux capacitor needed to generate the energy required for time travel.

That is it Wierd Wednesday is over for me. I can't refresh quickly enough. :?
