I still cant get my head about Bitcoins. I mean, I understand what they are but it just seems like a high tech pyramid scheme to me.

Currently watching something online and someone says hes a "bitcoin trader" but he doesnt come across as the sharpest tool in the box.

The best thing you can do with BC is buy some and sit on it for the next 10 years.

Steer well clear unless you have some money you don't need and want to see if you can make some money with it in a few years.

The person who dreamed up Bitcoin is a genius. After all how can you get someone to accept Bitcoin as a payment system when there are wild fluctuations to the currency daily?

I'm really surprised by the number of people who have jumped on board but then many people have also jumped on pyramid schemes over the years and lost everything.

I hope this story in the Oz isn't paywalled - its very amusing.
It is paywalled but there is a trick to viewing the page - google "its-time-to-plug-the-gaia-gasbags" (I selected your link, copied and edited it and pasted into Google) and you will be able to read the article. Works for the Oz and the Age.

Lily Allen regrets not accepting Bitcoin for payment a couple of years ago.

Allen told the Telegraph that she could have earned more than £6m had she accepted a live gig on Second Life five years ago. She was offered “hundreds of thousands” of bitcoins for the gig and she turned it down.

“As if, I said.”

Who'd Have Known, Lily Allen Could Have Been a Bitcoin Millionaire

Meanwhile James Hansen-decidedly not a denier-is blaming Green groups for the failure to reduce emissions-

IMG_2717.JPG God Gatwick security is a zoo - my handbag was put in the second look queue and it takes about 20 minutes before they get to you - she pulled everything out and couldn't find what they were concerned about and then took it all out again and still couldn't find anything and finally found the phone holder

At the hospital, sitting in a reclining chair with footrest. The lighting, the noise level and the ambience, with the extractor fan going and the fact I have a small bag of peanuts makes this feel like I'm sitting in long-haul J.

For me, it didnt make automatic sense until I was older. Trig is now like, Of course! It makes perfect sense NOW.

But current basic school math is doing my head it - they keep changing the rules so homework is a minefield these days.

I did extension maths at school - we joined the class of the year ahead of us - but I really don't remember any of it! I struggled the other day to remember how to do a standard speed/ distance/ time problem and name the types of triangles!
